ya, and argentines probably dont think of themselves as americans in any fashion. I think you need to give it up.

What Argentinians choose to geographically identify with isn't the issue. But since you brought it up, people in Argentina refer to U.S. citizens as Estadounidense, which literally translates to Unitedstatesians.

Somewhere along the line, the English language has failed to make a critical literary distinction. I'm on a mission to correct this meme. Either help me or get out of the way.

This thread may now resume course. Sorry for the speed bump.

Edit: Here is a forum where an actual Argentinian would like this error fixed as well. (Scroll down to the bottom)

Someone already mentioned that the Texas state flag is the only one in the country which is allowed to fly at the same height as the US flag. What they didn't mention is that school children say the pledge to both the Texas flag and the US flag. I had to say separate pledges every morning, lol.

The pledge is this:

Honor the Texas flag;
I pledge allegiance to thee,
Texas, one state under God, one and indivisible.

::waits for 'this is just a good example of all that is wrong about Texas':: ;)

I guess back to Rhode Island... I guess :D

someone plz email me when you wanna talk about some cool states 8)

ok jk, but seriously I can't say I have anything to say about any of the states mentioned. I have very limited experience with them...

but good thread!

this is a great thread......I drove trucks for about 15 years and I've been to all but the upper new england states. I haven't been north of New York.
