Graf

i'm not the "usual" graff chick when it comes to dress and just being that involved with the culture...
Most of the people involved in graff, I wouldn't really be able to tell. It's strange. People have this preconception that all writers are hiphop heads or wannabe-G types, but thats hardly a valid fact.
You see kids wearing all this large clothing and shirts with wildstyle logos, or dudes holding a can of paint, and you're like "oh shit, do you write?" "no." "oh...well i like your shirt."

When I go out I wear tight(er) jeans and an almost-too-small polo shirt.

R.I.P

I own a blog about Detroit where every week we post some new graffiti that we find in various areas of the city. We have an artist named SinTex who does some really good shit and will actually be doing like a Featured Artist sort of thing for us pretty soon.

This is an example of what he does. I can't post any more yet, but this is one we already have published, so I can post it.

I guess i'm just going off my x's writer mates - they all wore the same kinda shit... same with most of the girls in the scene... they dress like the boys do except for one chick i'm mates with and shes a bit of a girly girl *shrugs*

Being Australian Owned is different from being Australian made. An 'Australian Owned' company can still outsource manufacturing to China with it's cheap labour...

Haven't done anything for ages and can't find many photos of the old stuff. Think they must be on an old disk or something.

And check these out:

These are original, hand painted by the New York graffiti artist Cope2. My most prized possession!

Nice work foot and ek. Those shoes are cool, cope is a fucking celebrity.

Been working a lot, haven't been getting up...Hardly even sketching lately....It's detrimental to my wellbeing. Withdrawals and shit.

I know what you mean man..
Lately I have been a complete stranger to the contents in my pencil case.
somehow need to be motivated.

Fresh shoes footscrazy.

I'm bloody annoyed that some wankers have written a shitty few letters "CTCV" over nearly EVERY good piece on the Werribee line. Wonder if they got stomped for it?

^^ CTCV (Cops That Cap Vandals) and CTSA (Cops Trashing Shit Art/Cops That Slash Art) are the cops. They've done it all done the alamein and sydenham line too.

Do you have any documented evidence? Or is it something that is just known throughout the community?
That would superb military tactic for a crew to do that to rival crews, while spreading propaganda about who really did it...I have a hard time believing actual police officers do that.

it seems to come and go. some days i'll have my nose buried in my book all day, for days. sometimes weeks go without it being touched...

I don't have any evidence, it's just something that I've always been told since becoming involved in the scene around 2002, and is widely accepted amongst writers to be true.

Though definitely some people have said rival crews slash pieces with CTSA or CTCV as well.
