Mephedrone Megathread - Third time lucky?

Quick question..

What's the timeline of effects difference between snorting it and swallowing it?

Obviously come up for nasal will be around 1 - 5 minutes.. while oral will be around 20 - 40 minutes?

Peak?

High?

Time till baseline?
 
nasal should be around 5 minutes and if you wiff up enough it'll hit you like a truck.

For me, snorting it just gives an incredibly short, toxic-feeling rush followed by a nasty and extended spell of tachcardia. Not a fan at all. Whereas bombing I really like - euphoric, buzzy, rushy and feels much gentler and nicer on the body. Others seem to get the opposite though.

I don't find there's a small with meph,however,after I can smell meph in my wallet,I amagine,from all the chopping.

For me, snorting it worked well to keep me up after bombing a couple. I don't think I could snort a whole gram in an evening, your nose just gets too sore after a while. I have to say with this particular substance bombing it is probably better because, as you say, the rush is fantastic and lasts longer than snorting.

Having said that, snorting wasn't as horrid as I was expecting from what I'd read about it. It does sting and the aftertaste is pretty crap, but it's ok for doing a few lines to keep you going after bombing, but I wouldn't want to spend all evening snorting it.

The thing with bombing as I found last night, was that once you've reached the peak of the first one and it starts to wear off, bombing another won't bring you back to the same peak. It's good, but not as good as the first one. Maybe you need to take a larger dose the second time and that would work better. I found that bombing 2 X 200mg and then snorting a few lines to keep me up there worked very well.
 
Just would like to ask what people would suggest to ease the comedown of this substance? There are poppy-pods available and someone I know was thinking of using those in a tea

The timing of the second bomb seems to be quite important and I think it's maybe better to up the dose slightly. Been covered loads of times in this thread or its previous incarnations so sure you can track it down.

Not had any real comedown from it myself, but I would probably go for diazepam or a lil codeine. Suppose poppy tea would do the job too if the right strength but never used it myself.
 
Party Animal, I've used poppy pod tea on the tail end and comedown of a Mephedrone high; found it to be very effective and enjoyable. The two drugs don't really have a synergy but still feel good together. I did however need a higher dose of tea though, due to the stimulant effect of mephedrone. Careful as you can take higher doses due to the stimulation but this could potentially be dangerous. For comedowns I'd always go for something with a long half-life like valium or poppy pod tea.
 
I'll say it again... Mephedrone and coke is a good mix.

If you get hold of coke taking small ammounts of mephedrone before taking the coke will give you a nice intense coke buzz.

For me doing coke without the meph I just seem to be chasing a distant high

btw *snip* my pet monkey has sampled approx 60-80mg by insufflation....perfect hangover relief. Although it didn't take away the nausea which is hardly surprising, so I'm about to go to the shops to pick up some anti-emetics of some sort. Perhaps just some ginger ale.

btw how much pupil dilation do "people" get from this?

I have not had a problem with snorting meph, apart from the taste - which isn't really all that bad to be fair and it dissipates quite quickly with a drink. Having said that, I do fairly small lines compared to other substances - somewhere between 40-50mg. Not had a sore or blocked nose at all.

re: comedown
Not had any problems with this either. Never done over a gram in a night though, but didn't suffer comedowns when I used to take pills. Just make sure you get a good nights sleep plus some food and you'll be fine. :)

Why not chuck in a dash of mCPP to really give the ol' ticker a workout? :D

Well, a more a breakdown than a workout, perhaps. Didn't sound like coke and meph would be the world's most harmless combo. After a lil research that sound became somewhat louder and more shrill - almost like the sound of warning bells or summat...

Could this be because the mephedrone contains 99.9% drugs and the cocaine contains 99.9% cutting agents?

In the name of stupidity. I bumped a scant 10mg of 4-mmc while I was on MDPV and it was quite nice, but I wouldn't take it any further.
