I don't mean to sound cold, I mean the poor girl lost her life and her family will go through untold agony but how stupid can you be to eat 3.5 pills when you don't know for sure whats in them/how much? It's like IV'ing heroin with a needle you found on the ground.
My heart goes out to her parents and while I feel their pain and realise they're acting out that way because their angry and hurt but that is still no excuse for their stupid behavior. Imagine if your GF/BF died that way and their parents blamed you. I mean you just lost your love but to top it off, your being blamed and charged for not calling the ambo quick enough? These parents need to calm the fuck down and take a chill pill(or a beer) because the way their acting is disgraceful. They're not the only ones hurt by this.

Prozac isnt an antidote. MDMA causes a release of serotonin while Prozac inhibits the reuptake of serotonin (Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor). Takeing too much MDMA causes serotonin syndrome, where too much serotonin is floating around. Taking prozac (SSRI), something which prevents serotonin from leaving and being destoryed by MAOI wont fix the problem.
What I gather though, your point of view is that prozac displaces MDMA on the reuptakes. Taking prozac before mdma should prevent mdma working on serotonin and taking during mdma *might* displace mdma from the reuptakes. However serotonin is already flooded in and an SSRI will prevent its escape and may even prolong the over dose.
The typical antidote they talk of is something like Narcan is to Heroin. Heroin sits on the mu receptors in the brain. Narcan is pretty much the oppisite of heroin but stronger. It comes into the brain and kicks the H off the mu receptors and reverses the effects of the OD.

Dude, 3.5 pills is a MODERATE amount to most long-term users of ecstasy... Jeez the amount of people I know, including myself that have eaten 5+ pills in a night is rediculous.

^^^^ Yes but from all feedback the MDxx contents of these particular pills sounds at least doubly as strong as what gets around nowadays...

800mg sounds wrong for 3.5 pills, even those hearts were medium mdxx (yes the better ones).

I dont think its got to do with the dose. There are alot of people who can have allergic reactions to all sorts of substances. Like i was saying before i personaly know a few people who had up to 12-14 pills in like 10 hours and also one good friend of mine injected 4-5 pills at once, mind u this was in 2002 and a pill was appx 150-180mg of MDMA where i lived. I dont recommend engaging in any simmilar activities and i didnt mention it for dick sizing either cos 3 pills for me and im gone for 10 hours lol
Guess she had a bad reaction. If it was a highly toxic substance im pretty sure the other people would of been hospitalized. Ive seen people falling the the ground from dropping 6 in one night then shaking on the ground, seemed like he was epilepsic. A guy carried him like a pizza out the door cos his muscles all tensed up and later died at the hospital. Was fuking horrible to see his loved ones crying next to him where he layed yelling to call an ambulance. I donno if u guys ever felt/seen that before whilst rolling but it sure killed my roll.

Either way, particularly if you have never taken that pill before the smart thing to do would at least have one at a time and wait to see the effects. You can always take more, but you can't take less once you've had it. IMO chugging down numerous pills is a stupid and dangerous idea.
Tragic story. The pink hearts were 100mg's of MDMA give or take..........
After reading the article it is quite obvious that she swallowed almost 10pills following the argument with her boyfriend.

What i want to know is why she kept eating them, I mean she would be laid out after 2 pretty much, eyes rolling in your head, why would she eat another one and another half, 800mgs in her system tells me she ate them really close together, wouldn't some be out of her system if she spaced them out. I have ate mdma high pills and ate more then 3 but i spaced them out throughout the knight. 800mgs, sounds like she ate more then 3 if they where 140mgs a peice.THIs is the first pure mdma overdose i think i ever heard of, and it sounds like she died from toxicisity, rather then over heating or other usual cuases. CRAZY, in mourning for a fellow partyer and her family. RIP

i wuz lucky back in early 2006 to get access to a fkn shitload of these and proceeded to eat them every weekend for almost 12 months
.They were the bombs and i had some good nights on them, i had a fairly high tolerance before i tried them and they still floored me... so clean and strong! even after eating them for several months they still hit me hard.even so called hard c.nts would be off there head on one, coming up and hugging me and shit, loving the world!
i also witnessed wannabe heros double dropping, snorting doubles and shit and one dickhead ate about 6 of them in as many hours i saw some fucked up people on them but not once did anyone look like dying, so im thinking the poor girl ate too many at once and just had an allergic reaction
yea and kingpins right i would get massive woodys on these and could fuck for hours so no probs there ......
ahh i miss those hearts,i gave up eaten pingers after that (mid 2007) mainly cos i knew i wouldnt get that quality again and the price was right at the time too,ive eaten 3 pingers since then and nothing has even come close.
ive still got one i saved for a special occasion and after having such a long break im sure when i do eat it ill be GONE!

Just try and keep in mind that parents of victims usually have a way of finding their way to these threads... sometimes many months or even years later. It has happened many times before and more than once I've been on the end of emails from distraught parents asking wtf is their son/daughters name/photo doing on this site.
