My first time taking LSD I went to Disneyland. I know a lot of people would probably not recommend this but I had the time of my life. I took two hits at about 1:30 PM and smoked a few bowls at a friends house. Then we all got in the car and headed for DLAND about 30 minutes later. On the way to the park we were blasting drum n bass stoned as hell and having a good time (it takes about 15 minutes to get there from where I live.) When we got out of the car and began walking toward the line I began to feel a pretty good body high and my vision began to be a little warped. (this was about 45 minutes after dropping)

we got inside the park about an hour after I took the hits, I borrowed a friends annual pass who looks like me :) after walking around and waiting in line we got on the first ride of the day which was star tours!!!!!!!!!! this was about 1:45 after taking the tabs so I was just about peaking in my opinion. The ride was intense it really felt like I was flying through space and I was seeing kaleidoscope patterns in the stars (RAD) my friend had brought some 3D glasses so I wore those and they made all of the lasers that the spaceships were shooting look diffused and multiplied by 10.

After this we went on a lot of rides and tripped in the happiest place on earth. I was with some great friends which was awesome. The experience made me feel as if I knew what it was to really be happy and it made me feel like a 10 year old again just having fun at an ammusement park.

the most awkward part was standing in the line. I would be standing there and randomly burst into laughter which made my friends laugh as well and people would stare but I didn't mind since it's not like we were doing anything to make people think we were on drugs (junior high kids act this way there all the time). haha.

once night fell everything was beautiful there were swirling patterns all over the walkways and it the acid really made me notice all the intricacies of the park and of the world around me. I thought about all the work that went into it and how beautiful it was.

as i was passing the materhorn (snowcapped mountain tobogan ride it's actually a mountain) i looked up and saw faces carved in the side of the mountain that looked as if they were singing to the music that was being played. that was awesome and i sat down and tripped on that for a good ten minutes.

we ended the night by riding splash mountain (the log ride at the park) while the fireworks were going off!!!!!!!! AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!!!!!! a sixty foot drop into a cave of cool mist while fireworks are going off on lsd is simply unforgettable.

thats about it. by the time we left around 11:30 everyone had come down and felt great it hadn't worn off completely but we were all in the right state of mind to be driving and go home. IT WAS A GREAT NIGHT!!!

we decided against the haunted mansion hahaha.

Nice. Thanks for the report and I'm glad you had a great time.

Tripping at Dland is kind of a psychedelic right of passage in SoCal. :)

My favorite place to visit in that state is Fantasyland. I wanted to just stay on the Alice In Wonderland ride forever. haha. Another great one to hit during the fireworks (if you go back) is the Dumbo ride. It's just a kids ride but it puts you up in the air high and lets you really get a perfect view of the fireworks. The trails, combined with the spinning and the lights is fantastic.

Sounds like a wonderful time.. You're lucky you didn't freak out with all the people around and being your first time in all. I would of been uncomfortable with all the people around me talking and carrying on while I was trippin over my face

awesome read..
ive been talking about doing this for like 7 years now.. ive always wanted to trip at disney land + an aquarium..
luckily i have had the experience of tripping on 2ci while @ the monterey bay aquarium.. i stood in the jellyfish room for what seemed like 2+ hours..

If you can trip at Disneyland and be cool about it, more power to you.

But I just hope that anyone who trips at Disneyland and freaks out gets thrown into a badass county jail for the rest of their trip. Little kids shouldn't be exposed to that, especially there.

TRipping at Disney is the BEST. for my 18th birthday me and a few of my boys and a couple other friends and got a really nice hotel and brought a whole smorgasbord of drugs. one of those was Lucy in the sky. day 2 we ate 2 1/2 hits (supposedly each hit was double dipped 250mics) a peice. after a.b an hour riding the monorail we went into magic kingdom. the shit was CRAZY. looking at the rides and scupltures and plants was awesome but my most favorite time was people watching. me and a few of my friends that were girls and a few guys we were laughing to tears at the fat people walking around eating big ass turkey legs and popcorn and shit. so i got a turkey leg for everyone to share and we must have just sat there on the group (not even on a bench or legal sitting area, right off the sidewalk) and laughed our asses off for an hour and a half. i was seeing the craziest patterns and amzing shit the whole time. i wouldnt trade it for the WORLD. best birthday every. PLUS it was one of those nights where they do the fireworks (MAD trails) and parade. the cherry on the top, sick ass time :):)

btw Universal is also a pretty cool place to drop L. maybe not mushies though....JMO

happy tripping yall :D

OMG..... that is AWESOME!

Monterey Bay is such a kick ass aquarium, it's mindblowing even if you're not altered.

NICE ONE.

Man, that kind of sucks. haha.

I've never seen anyone 'freak out' on acid there. But even if they did how would that affect kids at the park? I guess I'm just confused by the comment and how the two relate.

If someone had a bad time on acid they would probably just leave or go to the medical/infirmary area.

But wishing outright for your fellow BLers to be tossed into county lockup is a bit of a shitty sentiment... especially for a harm reduction board, no?

This statement WAS made in the spirit of harm reduction! You just have to look at it from the intended perspective.

Disneyland is filled with kids. Even though adults can and do enjoy it, it's a kid's place (any adult who's enjoying it is accessing the kid in himself/herself). Kids don't need to be exposed to traumatic adult experiences while at Disneyland.

There are bad trips and there are bad trips. If someone's having a bad trip and they're just sitting on a bench looking at the ground, I don't think that's appropriate for Disneyland, but it would largely go unnoticed and I don't think that bad tripper should suffer any additional punishment. Same with walking onesself to the infirmary.

But if an adult is shaking, crying, trying to run blindly around and has to be restrained, etc. - then that adult is a fuckhead for doing such a thing at Disneyland. There should be such a deterrent to this that it does not happen. Only someone who can handle it has any business tripping there. Granted, most bad trips don't involve that kind of behavior. But it does happen. Perhaps I should have said "freakout" rather than bad trip.

Here's a similar statement: Anyone who goes to Disneyland and steals the wallet off a parent who's saved up all year to take her family there, thus rendering her without any money for food, gifts, or gas money home, should be thrown in a badass county jail. Kinda harsh, ha ha? Not really. ;)

A visible bad trip would be no different - it would be stealing the innocence of children at a very special place for them. I posted my comment so that people would take extra care and not think only of themselves and the good time they hope to have when they pop that tab in their mouth in the Disneyland parking lot. They have a responsibility to the kids there.

Would I say the same thing about tripping in a public park? No. If an adult is acting crazy at the park, kids will just have to deal with it. It's a part of life. Just not at a place like Disneyland.

Finally, I believe that psychedelic drugs should be legal. In the interests of achieving and maintaining such legality, users have a responsibility to trip responsibly. Tripping at Disneyland is unusually risky because of the number of children, and the mindset of both the children and adults who are there, thus we have to be very careful when tripping there.

I'm glad you brought it up because it gave me an opportunity to explain my post. Evidently it did not come across the way I intended. Do you agree with it now?

How would sitting on a bench looking at the ground inappropriate for Disneyland? im getting the feeling you haven't been to disneyland.....

I definitely do not think if you were having a bad trip, even the worst kind, you would not be thrown in "badass county jail." If you stole a wallet, yes, maybe. At worst they might take you to the infirmary and maybe call an ambulance and be taken to a hospital. All the while the kids would hardly even notice and if they did, 5 minutes later they would have forgotten all about it and be riding their favorite Dumbo ride or whatever and taking pictures with mickey and friends, unscathed.

I have to side with Johnny1 here. I'm going to Disneyland with my husband and children around Christmas, and I would not my kids being freaked out by a "crazy person" (aka: someone on a bad trip) while there.

You have to remember, some of us on BL are all grown-up, with kids of our own (but that doesn't mean we still don't wanna have fun!)

OP- Great report! Awesome read!

im not saying that adults go to have fun too. i totallywasnt trying to say that. but ALL parents arent excited about going there. Id even bet to say MOST are there to have fun. but some adults who arent there to have fun ( they were just there for their kids, been in the sun all say) or maybe some one who is sick and just chilling on a bench, maybe wanting to go home.
I meant a child seeing one person not having fun, staring at the ground (cause theyr bad trippng) is not going to effect them in the least. sorry for my crappy explaining :p lol

I did mushrooms for my first time at D land and I plan on doing acid there on monday... Souring over california is fucking amazing. Also you get kicked out pretty damn fast if you're obviously fucked up, happened to my friend when I mucked it there.

hey tyler! i'm not talking bout a guy sittin on a bench staring at the ground being inappropriate at disney (fuck... during my vacation there, with kids ages 6 and 2, and i have social anxiety, i may very well be the one on the frickin bench!! thank GOD for benzos)

I can't figure out how to double quote right now b/c my head is not attached to my body, but i was referring to johnny1's example of a guy running around freaking out scaring all the little kids and shit. thats what would piss me off. i hope this made sense... i had a fun night... will make trip report in the morning.. :)

EDIT: And, come to think of that, a guy not on acid could run around scaring all the kiddos anyways, and it would still be wrong.

I totally understand what you guys are saying but I'm not some idiot who would let myself go out of control around little kids. I mean granted it was my first time but I had researched it, knew the dosage, and felt that I was in the right state-of-mind to be doing it. And now that I'm more experienced and know how it effects me I know what dosages I can still act somewhat normal.

I don't... at all. :) But that's O.K.

I would guess two things... you've never done acid or been around people who do it and you've never been to Disneyland.

Just guesses, I could be wrong.

Still you have a unique way of looking at it.

I guess I should be clear.. if ANYONE for ANY reason 'stole the innocence' of a child then I think they should be punished accordingly.. but the same way you made your analogy works the other way.

If a person had an epileptic seizure at an amusement park right in front of kids, shaking violently, foaming at the mouth, screaming like they are dying.... the kicker is this person knew they could have a seizure and pushed themselves too hard, therefore actually bringing on their own seizure so in a way its his fault.

Should he put in jail?

Come on now... ;)

Just a heads up.... at Disneyland the costumed characters all roam around approaching kids and families... Some are really calm and peaceful but some are wild and a bit out of control. It's a common occurrence to see one or more small children SOBBING and SCREAMING in terror from these mascots. I would guess you see that at least once an hour if not more.

Usually the kid agrees to the picture but then when they get up close to the character and see how big they are, then they change their mind and freak.

Last time I was there I saw Aladdin chasing two kids past Tom Sawyer's island and they were pretty scared.

Luckily I had my camera...
