Found this website with some amazing photography by Brent Stirton.

Stolen from his Bio page:

"Brent Stirton is a senior staff photographer for the assignment division of Getty Images, New York. He specializes in documentary work and is known for his alternative approaches. He travels an average of ten months of the year on assignment."

The tribes of the Omo Valley are particularly good.

The local boy Felix paid for 'favours'. As you can see, he's strong like a bull.

I was away on a wee bike trip the other day to the west coast of Scotland to Applecross near the Isle Of Skye. Stunning weather with some of the best scenery Britain has to offer & the most amazing roads. I only went away for the one night, but it was well worth it. Our felix was gonna go, but had something on, so i went all on my lonesome.

The photos don't do it justice, especially when they have been reduced in size to around 20% of the originals 8o

Nice photos Cletus. I'd like to give those roads a blast in my motor...i reckon new tyres would be in order soon after!

Im hoping to get up to do some of those scenic drives around Scotland pretty soon. Beautiful stuff.

Thanks folks, it really was a cracking day for it. The road to Applescross was quite amazing - small & winding with passing places & hairpin bends. Not the greatest of surfaces, but fun all the same.

Will be off again tomorrow in a crowd of us, but in a different direction around the Grampian hills, so hopefully get some nice shots to bore everyone with :)

Urbain - west coast only for the scenic drives. Head back south by going through Inverness straight to Perth & forget the North East/East because it's gash for seeing or doing anything worthwhile.

Yes spade, I hear you, Embra is the bestest, fuck everything else. =D :p

Nice pics Cletus.

You will not hear my deniying that the west coast is fucking lush. However city wise, Embra all the way mate. :p

Cheers min!

Aye, Auld Reekie is probably the only thing on the east worthwhile going to, eh?

Dusted off (literally :() the camera since there's been some decent weather here, making a worthwhile trek round ze backroads.
