EADD Body Modification Thread

I'm rather fond of the dimple piercing. But I'll be fucked if I'd get it done myself.

Oh god I want her I want her so much <3<3<3

Back off she's mine! :X

I actually had a dream where I was, ahem, making love, to a blonde girl with a dimple piercing this morning, then the FUCKING POSTCUNT battered the door and woke me up.

His penance was the sight of me in my boxers with a semi, so we both lose that one =D

Fortunately he was delivering my awesome massive attack v mad professor vinyl, which I also bought for a song :D

So this is how the harem thing came about. It's all coming back to me now. =D

LOL @ Squiddy. =D

Also lol Squid <3 Been awoken from many an arousing dream by various door-knocking folk. Though unfortunately I don't have a penis to scare them away with :(

Yeah I'm worried about the possible rejection so was really hoping to heard some advice of people who have had one for a while. I was reading it is a viable long term piercing if done correctly though, tircky.

I used hate septum piercings but it's the only one I have left. Still love it even though it's wonky!

my first nape piercing was completely placed wrong with too small a bar to take the tension on the skin when i moved. so it rejected very quickly- i was stupidly really stubborn and left it in as long as was humanely(sp?) possible and so now it's scarred quite badly...also to make it worse i had another one done in the same place through and under the healing scar tissue- so again it rejected and tore out. my new bars are placed at an angle so the balls form a diamond shape=D but as neither bars are touching the old scar tissue it's been fine. also i had the new ones pierced free hand rather than being clamped so i think there's been alot less tension when i move so in turn less irritation to the piercing. However having said that, i've recently lost a chunk of weight and i think because of that my skin is a lot tighter around my neck (my piercer originally didn't want to do my neck because there wasn't much spare skin in the first place) so the second bar which sits lower is playing up and i think i may have to take it out soon. In all honesty i would say from experience for a surface piercing have an anchor as they are a lot more natural in the body i.e there isn't a bar between two points stressing the skin,so in my opinion they will last longer with less risk of rejection- on the flip side of that though if they do get infected, reject or you no longer want them they do have to be cut out of the skin to get the plate out....dependent on how you heal you may end up with a scar still.:\

for me, on my nape the scarring that i have isn't terribly noticable but it's still there and is really not something i would choose to do on my face i'm quite lucky in the fact that it's healed to almost the same colour as my skin and hasn't gone purple or pinky (it did look horrendous for a while though) i just think with scar tissue you never know how it's going to go....even some of the best scarification/branding pieces end up awful looking because your skin is so unpredictable.

Id rather get dermal implants than surface piercings now anyway - theres a less chance of rejection (although there is still one).

People with large/noticeable ear gauges: What kind of jobs do you have?
I'd really like to get mine stretched to between ~13-25mm, but I don't want to fuck up my future career prospects.

(Though I suppose anyone with noticeable facial mods can answer.)

At the moment I dont have a job, but I have worked in admin/call centres/bars - I plan on being a photographer or someone who does body modification - maybe combine the two.

My ears are 30mm (1 1/8 inches) and I plan on going to 50mm (2 inch).

Most people I know haven't found just having stretched ears have impacted on their career. However, they don't exactly have high power jobs.

What area is you career path in? I suspect it varies a lot between fields.

When I lived in Notts, there was a girl working on the floor below me with long, rainbow dreadlocks, white contacts, gauged ears, tattoo's , newrocks and flares.

It was an accountancy practice. Image didn't affect how she did her job.

Plus, ear gauges are so plentiful now that nobody will likely pay you any particular attention.

My boss can't talk to me without staring at my ears. She hasn't said anything, but I don't think she can quite work out how it's done. She's always got this bemused look on her face.

The guy who does my body mods has got anasthetic in :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

ITS TONGUE SPLITTING TIME IN A WEEK.

I dreamed last night I got a tattoo of a white duck on the back of my leg. I think I might actually have it done, but just in outline.
