Oh man, that too. I was driving this crackhead and my friend all the fucking way across town (the crackhead said it was only a 5 minute drive, in reality like 30 minutes) so my friend could score some dope off the crackheads dealer. Every time I fucking slowed down he'd be like "Wooooah, slow down man you dont need to stop right near their bumper! Go to the speed limit!! You almost hit that dude (no I didn,t, I'm a good driver), just saying other obnoxious shit related to my driving. That was the last time I ever let him back into my car. I found out later the prick stashed his crack pipe under my seat without telling me aswell. I'm glad I don't deal with those types of people anymore or let people I don't know well even near my car. :!

I used to think so too, but now I think it depends on the person and what kind of "high" it is. Opiates make me better coordinated and more alert, in general, but I would never get behind the wheel of a car if I were buzzing like madness itself. I'm in my forties and have never had a DUI, because I know myself, my body, and my limits.

Just because it has not happened does not mean that it can not, or will not, happen in the future. I am in my twenties and even I know this ;)

ftr, anything could happen
never, let me repeat that, never think you are safe if you are ingesting any kind of substance. Especially when driving!

Its people who think nothing, or only something small could go wrong that end up in huge messes.

You could end up hurting yourself, or an innocent bystander when driving under the influence.

Please do not believe that since it hasn't happened in the many years you've been doing it that it cant happen, or probably wont.

Be safe

Oh, absolutely. I have never driven while "high", (nor drunk, it should go without saying.). Matter of fact, I am the DD 99.999% of the time.

As I said, I know myself, and in my addiction days, when my tolerance was fairly high, I was much better able to drive with a little of my DOC in my system, (basically enough to get me back to baseline), than when in w/d. Trust me, I would have been a hazard to myself and others sometimes when I was dopesick, and avoided driving then as much as possible. W/D tends to make my coordination, judgement, and reaction time very poor. And as I stated, I have never gotten behind the wheel while feeling buzzed.

Sorry that I wasn't clearer about that.

I don't have that addiction any more, thus I don't get dopesick, so it's not an issue anymore.

And, I am sorry if I kind of took this thread off-topic. %)
 
Getting robbed is the ultimate buzzkill, but honestly. There isn't really such thing as a buzzkill on dope. When you are high you are untouchable.

-overly and unnecessarily paranoid people
-various types of annoying people
-girl problems

youre definatly touchable by the fuckin EMT's and cops that wake you up when you overdose. thats a nice way to lose your high completely. Bang a nice shot, start rushing hard as hell, be like Holy Fucking SHIT THIS IS GOOD DOPE, and all of a sudden your on a stretcher. definate buzzkill

Big buzzkills for me are people that get really needy and have low self worth. It's hard to be around.

Opiates, for example, are really easy to drive on once you become familiar with them. I would say that one shouldn't drive while nodding out. I do all the time, though.

I usually say something like "I'm high," and proceed with the nod.

When some kid somehow knows u do a bunch of drugs and told the entire school so now every time u walk into math class a girl says ur going to die before ur 18 when ur baked out of ur mind
 
Going to work high always kills my buzz. I work in the food industry and I deal with a good bit of people on a daily basis. I often go to work high and every time I ask myself why I do it. I feel like it's such a waste.
