Tip: For those of you with basic point and shoot cameras - if you're not getting colors that "pop", try and set your white balance to "cloudy" or "shade" modes. A lot of times this will pump up the red, green, and blues.

Going with this one for now, took it yesterday.

Took this a few hours ago. Bloody bird thinks my glass of water is good for a bath...

My bird does that exact same thing! He'll stick his beak all the way down to the bottom of the glass looking for water to either drink or bathe in. The colder the better for him, which is funny since he's a tropical bird too. Silly birds :D

Thats a great picture. Looks rather uncomfortable.

It sure is hilarious to watch Without the bathing context it almost looks like an animal cruelty photo... but really she's having the time of her life :D

this sucks, now that i have been attending photography school for about 9 months now we are trained to photoshop the hell out of everything, since we are supposed to be porducing industry standard work. so i have a lot of good images i have been wanting to submit but i havent, in a while.

so here is a food still life i took the other day (i havent edited it yet, but there is a bunch of glass scratch marks and dust that i am dying to clone out.)
