First shooting star i ever saw was looking out at space while tripping pretty hard on acid.... it was still early in the trip them but i knew it would be good from that moment....
 
Hey Tranden, today I'm doing acid for the first time too :D When I'm tripping i'll think, hey.. Some guy on BL is tripping right now..

But yeah, I think just go with it, nature is always good, be with people you trust for sure.. Or be alone. Music is good. Have fun
 
^^ I would not recommend being alone for your first time on mushies unless you have a lot of experience being alone on other psychedelics.
 
What to do for first trip? (LSD)

So, in eight days, I will have acid in my hand.
That means that I'll be getting it on a Monday at school.
Problem is, is that I don't know when/where to take it. Home? School?
I don't really have close friends and my parents don't let me stay over peoples houses vs. versa.
So, what to do, what to do?
I've done weed, alcohol (was drunk as a skunk), pills, and E at school/home and never had a problem, but I don't know how my acid trip will be.
And I have second thoughts of taking it at school because I have to take two buses to go home...
Should I take it early in the morning at home and maybe it'll wear off by the time schools over?
Or if I take it at home (weekend) will I be "aware" enough not to act stupid in front of my parents?
GAH! Help? Ideas? Information?

Take it on bicycle day!

Don't take it in front of your parents. Whenever you take it, make sure you have no plans for the next 12 hours. Take it in a friendly place, somewhere you feel comfortable.
 
Have a flick through the B&D First Time Tripper Thread for some ideas. Taking acid for the first time at school or around your parents doesn't sound like a great idea to me. Possibly a day out in the sunshine - go for a walk maybe.

As long as the dose isn't huge then it is possible to "act straight" on acid but not necessarily for very long cos you'll be somewhat easily distracted by anything and everything ;)
 
Don't take it at school that would be horrible , the only time I ever ate doses at school I ended up bailing out as soon as it kicked in because I got over come with anxiety. You should take it on bicycle day it's a weekend you wont have school. You'll be celebrating the birthday of LSD with your first tab of Lucy. Have fun with and take a day trip to the Forest =D

Save it for a day when you can walk in the sunshine, and maybe explore a wooded area or something cool like that. Home with parents, or at school, sound like horrible places to trip.
 
Tripping at school would probably be as fun as hitting myself in the face with a hammer.

My first time tripping I was about 13 walking around the woods with a bunch of my friends and it was a great time.

Whatever you do, trip with your friends in a safe environment!
 
Okay, so I thinking that I'm going to decide to do it (acid) in my room.
Has everyone done that? How is it different from going outside and walking around?
I don't think I'd be good walking around for my first time.
And any recommendations for food, music, or stuff to watch on my computer?

Psychedelic Media Thread, Trippy Games Thread, Trippy stuff to do when tripping thread - should keep you busy for a while :)

Generally speaking, just do whatever feels good. Anything you enjoy sober you're likely to enjoy even more so whilst tripping. You'll probably find that you get very caught up in things - absolutely anything really - but are also quite easily distracted. Personally I quite enjoy watching a good documentary tripping - I get really involved and it sets off all kinds of interesting thought-wanderings for me :)

PS: I trip alone in my room way more often then I do outside. No different from tripping outside other than being inside really, although sun on your skin is amazing tripping. As is gazing at the stars... In fact pretty much everything is amazing tripping =D
 
1st time tips

Hi, and welcome to what I think is my first post in Psychedelics.

Im thinking of trying Shrooms and Acid for the first time over the next few months (obviosuly not together) and was looking for tips. The best things to do whilst under the influence, how to avoid bad trips. Basically all the noob stuff.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Be with someone you can hug and not feel silly, turn yer phone off, have some good music and pretty things, and don't be scared because nothing bad is going to happen :D

And go outside, trees look amazing on shrooms. As does anything else, really.

Dunno what's best to do, I think you tend to find stuff to do by yourself. Shrooms in particular make you feel sort of child-like, and I've spent time making finger puppets and paper airplanes, dancing to Elvis (!) and frolicking in woods.
 
Wow, the more I read the more I realize it was dumb of me to take acid alone for my first time... Although I've done shrooms like 6 or 7 times, half of them alone.

I remember when I went into the bathroom I looked at my pupils and I didn't even see my blue, just all black! I thought I was an alien! When I walked out of the bathroom my mom stared at me and was like, are you high?.. I was like, maybe =D with a dumb grin on my face, wabbling around and shit (or was I?!) Then she laughed and I sorta walked away and she said my name. It was really awkward lol
 
Well I've read through most of this thread and I still have a few questions.

I will be getting some LSD soon (yay) and I was just going to take a full tab. Now I am aware that not all LSD is the same and some may be stronger than others. My (uninformed) friend thinks taking a full tab will be too much for my first time and that I should only take half. How much did you take for your first time..? Also does drinking affect the trip in any way..? When I smoke weed and drink I always feel sick. Also how should LSD be stored and how long does it last..? I will probably be taking it as soon as I get it but this one is for future reference.
 
Hello, I've done LSD only once, and hopefully again tomorrow.
My first time I took 3 tabs.
I don't believe drinking effects the trip in any way (if you mean water/juice~), probably bad idea if alcohol. I remember on my trip I started freaking out cause I needed to eat food so I made a post on bluelight URGENT CAN I EAT CHINESE FOOD ON ACID? Obviously they teased me and said yes.
I heard it's best to store in the freezer for long-term. Or in tinfoil in a cool place. Heat and air break down the lsd molecule.
