shooting oxy's - i think something is wrong

i have been shooting oxycodone for awhile now. usually in my upper arm. i have missed my vein before and it is usually followed by a couple days of soreness in the area, but this time my entire bicep has swollen and has been very painful for several days. it feels very hard to the touch. does anyone have an idea what could be wrong or what i can do to make it better. please help.

You may have an abscess from missing your shot. I would go to a doctor and get that checked out ASAP. It's not worth taking a chance with a situation like this it's best to seek medical attention. If it is an abscess and you leave it untreated you could possibly lose your arm. Go and see a doctor today. Keep us Updated.

Yes it is , Go to your doctor or the emergency room and have it checked out. Your better safe than sorry you know what I mean.

Yeah thats no good man, see a doctor ASAP, if you can't get an appointment go sit in the ER. My friend almost had to get his arm removed due to an abscess from shooting Oxy. Plus if you read on here a lot, I think this is one of the main reasons they tell you not to shoot pills, as the binders and fillers are just horrible for your body

By cutting it open and draining it out , it's an infection in your arm.

a little update... i went to the doc when you guys told me to. they gave me a shot and put me on some really strong antibiotics. they told me to come back in today (friday) and they will lance it. im still purdy scarrrred, but at least i dont have to have my arm amputated as i originally thought. fuck this shit! no more shootin oxy's for me. this shit aint worth it. maybe some good dope every once in awhile, but thats it.... thanx all!
