Wow is this a real photograph? It's super interesting-looking.

Yes, and thank you. I was cutting up color-aid paper for something else and just decided to shoot the scraps and light it from the side to get the shadows.

EDIT: 5 "internet dollars" to anyone who can guess the symbol I was cutting out of that paper, all the elements to figure it out are there.

Note: internet dollars carry no currency value
