Dreaming and weed

^yea

i lucid dream a lot. i wish i could go to that extreme though, anyone seen waking life?

but usually a day after smoking is when i get my most vivid dream but most are jsut the same

After smoking pot everyday (half a gram a day) for a couple of months straight and then suddenly quitting when i took a vacation to Israel i noticed very interesting things.

My first couple of nights there i had extremely frightening dream like experiences. These included on the first night a particularity very lucid dream that had about a dozen false awakenings and the dream would repeat itself over and over again. This was TERRIFYING!

I also had bouts of sleep paralysis which was the first time i was conscious of it in my whole life! So i would say in regards to smoking pot and dreaming, I'm sure there is some sort of REM rebound type effect in play so thus, if you want to have lucid dreams easier, simply smoke a lot of pot constantly, then stop!

It was two pills, I don't remember the dosage but they were typical generic sleeping pills. Definitely does sound like those hallucinations, but it's never happened again so I do believe it was triggered by the benadryl ( I believe they have the same ingredient or at least very similar) it was scary dude!

Yeah, it can be quite frightening. most of the times i had sleep paralysis it was terrifying. Its possible the benadryl or diphenhydramine could've played a role, but its generally a pretty random phenomenon, so i'd doubt it was a result of only the benadryl.

While I do agree with you, I've experienced sleep paralysis many times throughout and not once have my pillows tried to suffocate me, barring the experience with benadryl. I do agree that it was possibly not "only" the benadryl, but this particular brand of sleep paralysis has never come back, so I feel fine attributing it to the benadryl.

i felt when i was smoking weed i had lots of vivid dreams, But now that i use heroin i feel my dreams a extremly vivid and realistic as hell!
