DIY Lightbulb vaporizer

Hey fellow bluelighters...i stumbled upon this today and it is way way cool....tell your friends you invented it and they will think you are einstein lol!! serious this thing kicks ass and the best is smoking J's in it half way through the J the hit is intense...this thing saves your nugs too. I Hope all you guys will respond with how yours turned out and what a great idea this is....heres the link to youtube or just look up the header...

I noticed a bunch of light bulb threads recently and i think most people know about this.

plus this is a shitty light bulb tek , too much tape and the 2 liter cap will fit on the threads of the bulb.
 
i didnt follow it exactly either....i was more impressed with the idea of making a bonafide smoke bubble for free basically...with duct tape and a razor blade you can just customize it to suit you...and i never saw any threads bout this recently but if one more person discovers this then fo sure!!!!!!!

how/why do you smoke a joint in a vaporizer.
 
I acctually ended up popping the metal cap off the glass bulb part on accident and had a really nice one, but its not really worth it
 
Seriously people will think, "Man what a crackhead that guy is."

I made one about 10 years ago and it cracked, quickly. With a vaporizer that is that inefficient you're better off just smoking it. Plus who knows what else stays inside the glass or if the bulb is treated with anything that isn't inert. Go get a glass test tube for 50 cents and you're much better off. Or go get a volcano and then your worthless friends that you're dying to impress will actually be until they bother you constantly to smoke them up on the volcano.

This is true, the glass on lightbulbs wasn't meant to be heated and then inhaled. A glass test tube (an actual glass test tube, not a cigar tube) would be much safer.

These vaporizers are hard to control the heat, so you can end up vaporizing too little or too much. I have noticed that they do hurt the lungs so I don't doubt that they're coated with something nasty.

Mine have also cracked quickly. And the above post isn't to be elitist or anything like that. I've used my fair share of tin cans and lightbulbs and ghetto smoking devices. Now that I'm older however I've invested in a real vaporizer and just try to eat firecrackers and leary biscuits as much as possible.

Lightbulb teks should not be passed around unless it can be proven that it's safe and healthy to use a lightbulb. Why risk it? Just buy some rolling papers and twist up a bone.
 
lightbulb vaporizer doesn't produce as much smell as bongs/pipes/joints

my bulb has been in use for over an year. i used a 100 watts clear type and never cracked once.

Even if they are coated with something nasty it would burn right off after a while. I'm also pretty sure there's no toxic vapour coming from a non-frosted lightbulb.

Anyone know for sure?

I love my lightbulb vap .... $1.80 to dramatically reduce my risk of lung cancer ... Yes please!

What I love most is that it's a paranoia free high unlike burning.

You are probably increasin the risk..you are smoking out of a lightbulb. Who knows what fuckin chemicals shit is coated with inside...

In my opinion.,this is a fail

but yeah, nothing new, and rather unsafe considering most lightbulbs have an inner coating of some nasty chemical.
