I wanted to vote for myself :D but I voted for ocean because when i see that pic the first thing that pops in my head is "wintertime"

There were SO many great entries this week, one of the more enjoyable rounds of late I must say
Not to mention that winter is my favourite season

For me, it came down to ocean, BA and tribal girl.

I went with tg in the end, because it was just different.

I tought my artctic like landscape would be a hit lol

Where I live we get 6 months of snow, ice, more snow, more ice, until its like 2 meters thick so, every year. So it takes alot to impress me, ive kinda seen it all lol =P

It was down to BA, felix, cletus and ocean for me this round. Ugh, that's too many! :D I went with cletus because it had the most 'artistic' feel to me. Like it'd be a shot in a Coen film or something.

I thought all of them were beautiful picture's but BA's would have to be my favorite :D

Damn it damn it damn it. I've been taking photos all week for this round, with the intention of entering yesterday. One missed night's sleep, and one day's steady alcohol intake, and I forget. Crap.

Ninja got my vote: he captured the frigid cold but painfully bright mid-winter day that for me is winter. Ocean was a close second. Slushy and JV took photos that look pretty close to what I would have taken, and did it better than I likely could have. Madmike's reminded me of winter camping, Cletus' and BA's captured 'winter driving' very well, and TG's is excellently composed-- the 1/3 rule and tilted angle brings a lot of visual interest to a plain but evocative scene.

Mon pays, ce n'est pas un pays, c'est l'hiver! Next time this round comes around, I'll actually remember to enter something.

This round is so hard to decide! This is about the third time I have come in to this thread trying to decide who to vote for. I went with caff because I like the feeling that photo gives me, but LoveAlways was a close second, its just so cute! And there were a couple others that were making it a very hard decision.

I liked so many of them but Cletus and PIP's pictures give me a feeling of mystery.....
What is beyond the bend? I like the tree in Cletus'- it looks weathered

I liked BA's for the lighting.....it is beautiful.
Zzyzx's was nice- I liked the colors and the isolation you feel just looking at it!
Madmike's is cool- reminds me of being little and bundling up to play in the snow......
LA- Those were the best snowmen ever.

I'm at least 42/325ths Québecois in my mind anyway, and really it applies to all Canadians that cherish Winter rather than bitch and complain for 8 months out of the year. Vive l'hiver!

Of course I did... i'm 321.7/325ths Québecois

But really Vigneault is a separatist, he was only refering to Quebec on that one lol

Oh, and I still hate winter and bitch about it most of the time hehe

It just lasts for too long, if it was 2 months, ok, but 6-8.. that sucks

I knew I'd be up against it this time round, nothing without snow was going to win. I can't choose between ocean and BA. Since BA is way out in front, I will wait until I receive high rez versions before I cast my vote. :D

RL got my vote, because it was closest to my experiences of winter i.e barely ever snows, just cold and miserable. Lots of amazing photos this round though!
