i'll drive slow at night listening to music and I feel like i'm in a tarantino flick. it just makes everything more exciting or terrifying depending on your situation. I got arrested when stoned out of my mind once (damn white lighter) and that was a horrible experience.

^Lol @ white lighter. I have one and it hasn't gotten me in trouble once (knock on wood) I keep it at home (and its only used to light candles and incense) so it hasnt brought any bad juju to me. Its almost outta gas anyway, once its empty I don't think I'll purchase another one (I think I'll get a red clipper instead:)

I agree tho, weed can make shit feel like ur in the legend of zelda if ur high enough. I smoked 20 bowls two years ago (for my 20th bday) and next thing I knew I was in some forest with funky music. Fun shit imo

i think it must be pretty common for pot to make you "feel like you're in a movie"

i definitely get that, as do my friends

i've never really got that feeling...i dont know why.
my friends girlfriend used to always say that she thought she was watching a movie when we were just talking and smoking, she didn't talk a whole lot.

In college,

I ONLY buy white lighters...

My theory?

NO ONE EVER FUCKING STEALS MY LIGHTER THEN!

I somewhat agree with the topic. Although the adventure sometimes never leaves your couch/computer chair.

PS I don't get the white lighter talk. Any lighter I have usually ends up stolen.

white lighters in certain smoking clicks signifies badluck (stoner superstition)

I always hear the fool "I got busted BECUZ I HAD A WHitTE LIGHTER'

i've had people ask for a lighter to light their cigarette, and i pull out my white lighter and they're like "wait... i can't use that" i love it.

around here you have to be stingy as fuck with red lighters.

when most people around here see a red light it either gets knocked to the ground and stomped on, or asked for to spark a port and then thrown far as fuck into the woods or something.

luckily, i normally only get black, blue or purple lighters.

okay! back on topic now. =D

Red clipper lighters

There's nothing special about red clipper lighters, just clippers in general. I had a ronson brand ripoff of a clipper once, worked way better than bics imo. Might've actually been a clipper with a ronson label lol. Clippers tend to be considered weed lighters due to the fact that when you turn the lighter upside down towards the bowl, the flame gets bigger, Haven't seen a clipper since I moved tho, might have to buy a few online (oh yeah, unlike bics clippers are refillable)

oh man. has shit gone down when a white ligther reared its white shiny metallic self.

weed does make eveyrthing a adventure...when i think about it, it brings me to the "moment"

I never heard of that white lighter jazz.

I always carry a pink one because a lot of people don't like that color (men and women both) so I think whoever uses it will remember it's mine and give it back. That's my theory.

Ya ya, it can feel very cinematic sometimes especially when making love or going places.

lol, instead of white lighters its yellow lighters here in nebraska...shits so dumb though, i remember i was smoking with this chick, she asked if she could see my lighter, i gave it to her, she noticed it was yellow and then fucking chucked it in a stream because its "bad luck"..shit pissed me off

I go driving by the beach at night (I live on Long Island) down Ocean Parkway. The view is to die for, and it's a straight drive for 20+ miles. The whole thing stretches for 60 some odd miles, so it's a nice drive. Since it's a road that's used to get to summer homes for all the rich people who vacation here, there are no cops in the winter time. Even during the summer there are hardly any, and since it's so dark they can't see in the car anyway.

It's so much fun to get blazed and stare staight ahead down straight road, stretching as far as my eye can see, looking as though I'm driving into eternity... with the stars hanging in the pitch black sky, dotting the water and lighting up the beach, the beautiful summer homes dotting the landscape on the dunes... listening to music with my friends... driving into the sunrise that makes the water turn pink... going over the bridge that shows the full view of the strip and the water...

Sigh

Edit: The best part of the whole road is the stretch that is really bumpy. You feel like you're on a roller coaster and if you go fast enough you can make your stomach drop. Haha. It tickles and never fails to make me giggle like a little kid.

You have painted a beautiful image for us. That's a ride i'd certainly like to take.

I've been a lurker for a while, but just registered because Danashae's post resonated with me so much. So... hi everyone.

I don't live on Long Island, but I used to live in Brooklyn and had friends in Long Island - just a few months ago I was visiting and took that drive while completely blazed crazy! It really is gorgeous at night with no other cars on the road, the sky opening up above you and beautiful beaches on either side.

A huge portion of my teenage years were spent getting high and driving around all night through winding back roads. Anybody here live anywhere with an insane firefly population in the summer? Driving down a stretch of road that cuts between giant fields that just light up with fireflies at night is absolutely incredible when you're lit up (punny!) I totally recommend it, speaking of weed making things feel adventurous, that always made me feel like I was on a Lord of the Rings ride at Universal Studios or something.
