When i was in highschool i use to smoke till i drop, all day everyday.
I notice as im getting older pot is less enjoyable, kind of gets in the way of my daily routine, like working, paying bills, shoping, going out into public, etc.I just get anti social. But when i first started smoking(7 years ago)it made me feel great, like i could do anything, pure euphoric.now the opposite.
So is there any way i could get the euphoric and joy from smoking pot like i use to...any ideas? 8)

damn im so afraid of this happening to me...thats y i only smoke like 1 - 2 times a week.

maybe u shouldnt think of it as something you have to do, just do it when u realy have no stress

it's not that big of a deal when marijuana doesn't cut it anymore...you have two options find another drug, or take a break. smoking the same amount is a waste of money in that case.

take a 2 month break. make your tolerance dissapear!

or compine the high with some oipates or benzos.

Smoke just when you've got all the bills/everything else you're responsible for done and like at the end of the day/night and to relax when you're chilling at home and don't have to go anywhere.

Maybe try saving it as something to do on weekends? Or as a treat a few times a month as a reward for working hard, paying the bills, etc.?

Change your smoking environments, change your set and setting, avoid activities that you normally do while high as this tends to dull the effects after becoming used to it, and try taking a short break.

Exercise and blazing is great, too.

1. Tolerance break (CAREFUL! You will get high as FUCK when you do it again)
2. Reward system (end of the day, work is done. Time to toke :) )
3. Setting (go do something when you smoke, something you enjoy sober already)
4. Baked goods
5. A little booze

Cannabutter, tincture, and hashish might add some variety to your routine.

I have to second the motion to grow your own. Live cannabis plants are beautiful, and I envy everyone who has one. I have also heard that cannabis plants produce highs most suited to the person who grows the plant, but this may be stoner bullshit.

bingo.

another thing that i like to do is kind of make a "smoking date" with myself. instead of just picking up the bowl when i've got nothing better to do, i'll make a plan to wait until a certain time/occassion (going outside late at night, hiking somewhere beautiful, after a tough workout, etc). this both decreases tolerance so you get higher AND puts you in a mindset where you feel better about your use as well.

Best way to make smoking fun again is stop smoking so much. Its like a video game, if you play it nonstop to the point of boredom everyday it'll eventually get old, but if you only play it an hour or 2 a day it will stay fun much longer.

Try waiting to smoke until the end of your day, think of it as a reward for going all day sober. you will appreciate it much more that way.

Yea, make it a rare thing, a treat for the weekends or something.
Also, I don't feel that people should be afraid of one day growing out of smoking weed. Just like how people can "grow into" smoking weed, some people will "grow out" of it. Not to say that it's an immature thing, people change and lives change, at some point it may be time to either cut down drastically, quit, or find another drug.
I used to smoke every day and go about my daily tasks high as well, but after a while I realized it's best saved for relaxing in the evenings or weekends, and that stimulants are a better fit for myself personally, when it comes to doing a drug and still doing day-to-day activities.

Same thing happened to me. After pot being my drug of choice for a few years it slowly lost its magic.
Even if I take a T-break, I guess I'm just too used to the effects.
Not to say that I don't smoke anymore. I still smoke the odd evening when I'm on my own.
I just don't find it very interesting in social environments anymore.
