[Combo Thread] DXM & Cannabis

Yeah... lots and lots of times. It's usually a great combo... always lifted me straight up into a solid 3rd plateau trip @ 354mg DXM if I smoked around the 3 hour mark.

But I did have a near-death (or so I thought) panic-attack with this combo once. Holy shit, did that suck. My heart was going like 200+ bpm for quite a while.
 
This combo is generally pretty neat. I dont smoke much weed in my day to day life though so i keep the smoking to little cones every 45mins to an hour. Once with this combo i had great difficulty opening my eyes, it was like i was looking into the sun or something (though it wasnt brightness that was making me close my eyes). I couldnt keep them open for more than a few seconds. It was a bit wierd but i was like fuck it and just kept them closed :) The first time i did dxm (500mg) i smoked and had a panic attack, to quote bd "Holy shit, did that suck". Generally though, weed is a great booster for a dxm trip.
 
i cant do the tussin if im not smokin a lotta pot...ive had pure dxm in capsules(300mg each) and have put a little in a blunt...not really a good idea,but fun little experiament.

I'm curious about how you get your heart rate bpm while tripping and during all these panic attacks. Do you have a machine since on DXM it would be hard since you are so numb.
 
yeah for me weed is essential while tripping on DXM, i find it helps with the sickness feelings as well.
 
I find it impossible to take a semi accurate pulse once well into a dxm trip. He may just be guessing based on the scale of freak impending doom panic death that he was experiencing
 
after smoking a joint on the peak of DXM, i got the most intense high... then i blacked out... and threw up.

then the high dissapeared
 
ah I've had the option to try this combo once and it is one of my favorite combos next to Ketamine and Nitrous and Cannabis and Mushrooms.

327mg DXM + 1/2 a joint of indica dominant @ the 3 hour mark = Euphoria :)
 
i once took 300mg dxm and smoked three small bowls of good homegrown (my own, heh), they synergized perfectly, creating some great imagery (imagine looking at your wall and seeing a small drop of the opposite wall create pink, purple and blue spotted ripples on it)
 
i can't dex without smoking...that's just pretty...necessary ;p
i took 500mg and went to walmart at night whichi was actually pretty fun looking at the toys and stuff when no one was in there. Suprised i could stand up that long. Then i went home and took an extra 300mg .....ahhhh the comfies, yes mother :) i just woke up now and still have kinda cross eyed double vision. that's so cushy and weird to wake up with!
 
smoking weed during the dxm comeup (t+40min) is just the best thing ever you could do with weed loool....each toke produce a great wave, the dxm effect beeing magnificied, but also the weed effect itself beeing incredibly enchanced, I love this combo (note that I'm talking about 900mg of OTC dxm gellcaps)...and for dxm friends here's another great dxm combo: dxm+dancing (with some mystical music like "ravi shankar", chill-out, "dead can dance" or such)...dancing on some high 3rd plateau or small 4th plateau dxm dose is amazing.

exactly, dxm+weed(kb)= bliss, its a rush, probably the closest to a heroin rush probably i'll ever experience as I will never inject myself for recreational purposes the combination it feels very much like being on a rollercoaster, or flying until it subsides, then take another single toke and you will be above the sun again in no time
 
DXM isnt worth doing without weed IMO...

i tripped harder (not longer tho) on 400 mg DXM + weed more than 1000mg of just DXM. i didnt even feel like i hit the 3rd plateau at 1000 mg (i weigh 150). weed just seems to take you to the next level. and of course its great for stomach discomfort.
 
DXM+Cannabis

Why is it when dxm and cannabis are mixed the trip turns into a entirely different one. Last night I downed 600mgs and when I started comming up I smoked half a joint. After that I went to my room and turned on music and found myself tripping so damn hard.

After about an hour I layed down and I watched my ceiling and it was like a tv show for me all sorts of different colors floating around in complex patterns. Kinda like UFO crop circles? When my mind thought of a different color the color would change. Then a mans face starts trying to rip out of my ceiling and its morphing around, it wasn't scary, rather trippy and awesome.

Next was a giant yellow centipede crawling around my ceiling and then comming down towards me and diapearing into my chest (kinda like my soul sucked it up, crazy)

There was alot more like people sitting next to me but only in the corner of my eye so my mind did play big tricks on me.

So this happens to everyone?
 
Yes...for me it happens on just DXM as well. When I'm on a nice 600mg dose and lying on my bed once I was looking at the ceiling and a giant sand tornado starts forming and comes down and engulfs me. I've also had like tiles keep adding layers onto my roof until it was right in front of my face, loves some of the OEVs I get on DXM. I also experiece the multiple people thing, I once opened my eyes and saw a silhouetted person sitting next to me just watching over me, startled me for a second but I wasn't scared, I was actually really curious and hopes I could interact with it. I said 'Hey' and it didn't reply, so I closed my eyes and when I opened them again it was gone. I've also had trips and I thought my friends were there the whole time...they weren't :P

wow, that has got to be the stupidest statement I read in a long while

DXM IS a drug and if you like it - you like it

the effect would eventually change after a while (part of the "magic" goes away) but to most people it remains "fun" ... especially if combined with THC =D

THC greatly intensifies a DXM trip

gotta love that combo!
 
Yeah I also get the "i think my friends are there when their not".

Crazy stuff :D.

I had an after glow the other night and smoked purple haze, a really good high :D
