a few random dmt questions

Does set and setting matter with dmt?

How long does oral dmt last?

This is my first time what should i expect?
 
set and setting Matters a looooot, you may not be able to recognize your surroundings during a full hard trip, but it still influences Almost every single feeling.

Oral DMT, the main trip is about 2 hours a lot of the time. A lot of that depends on how high your dose of MAOI is. There is a nice strong after glow that will last for a long while afterwards.

You should not expect anything.
 
I'm not familiar with it personally but a quick shufty through erowid suggests that you've got plant matter containing mainly DMT - which would indicate using any of the popular teks for extracting from MHRB. whether the leaves present a particular mechanical obstacle or not I don't know - but I doubt it.

Be sure to use an acid/base extraction on the leaves rather than a straight to base (which is the more pop[ular method for extracting from MHRB).
Also dont forget to defat, thats another thing that is usually left out of MHRB teks.

^Look up the FASA (fumaric acid saturated acetone) method. Acetone is highly volatile and flammable, but much easier to work with than naphtha. Plus you don't have to use lye -- which is dirty shit and no substitute for reagent grade NaOH -- and might also blind you.

What will you use to turn your fumurate into freebase though.

I have heard that extracting using the FASA method isnt as effective as an STB tek. Your yeilds will be much lower.
Though FASA works great for turning DMT freebase in fumurate (for injection).

Is the fumurate more stable (less prone to oxidation) than the freebase?

I just leave my DMT as the fumarate salt. You can't smoke it is the only difference (smoking tryptamines is pretty bad for your lungs anyways). Not sure about the stability, but most forms of DMT are fairly stable for our purposes.
 
DMT Pipe

I was just planing on using one of my weed bowls to smoke DMT but then started to wonder if maybe the THC residue would not go so well with it. Feedback would be greatly appreciated.
 
Use a vaporizer.I heard this is the best way to dose.If u cant afford (or to young to perches) one, you can easily make one from a light bulb.
 
Thanks for the advice, I have another question assuming you've done or do DMT. Does the harshness of the hit that I've been hearing a lot about create a negative feeling during the trip or does it generally go away?
 
The THC residue won't really effect the DMT experience, but you should really invest in a separate pipe so that the next time you smoke a bowl you don't blast off unintentionally.

Ive never done DMT myself,although Ive been meaning to try it.
But i would assume you would forget about it with the intensity/visuals of the trip.
That's just me though, ask someone experienced with it.Also be sure to do it somewhere safe.Buddy of mine did it and said he laid on the floor straightened out like a plank, unable to move.(lol)
 
They sell "love buddys" at pretty much every convenience store in the united states. There meth pipes but work well as dmt pipes too.

I feel like the harshness of deems smoke is a bit misconstrued by most. If you aren't straight burning the spice, it won't be very foul at all. Any occasional weedsmoker will have no problem holding it in for the requisite 10 seconds. As for the taste, it should be relatively mild if you have clean product and vaporize it correctly.
 
marijuana is important for me to smoke when I smoke DMT...I like DMT just alone...but I prefer marijuana + DMT


the residue will largely be unnoticed as DMT is quite powerful.

Usually when I smoke DMT I place it on top of some fresh herb and slowly liquidize it into the herb, ever so carefully moving the flame closer and closer (until the DMT begins vaporizing). I take a full hit of the DMT, hold it in, exhale, then take a hotter hit of the marijuana +DMT residue...the second hit is always more marijuana (but still a good amount of DMT). It works very nicely for me.
