GBL Megathread - 2nd dose

The best way is in half a glass of orange juice necked. I cant imagine the foul taste with it in a single mouthful of water. <akes me screw my face up just thinking about it.

Havent tried the caps, but sounds good.
 
I find a mouthful of squash, with a tiny bit of water is fine. Drinking half a glass of the stuff would probably make me sick.
 
I cant taste the stuff in half a glass of orange, it is why I dilute so much because I hate the taste.

The only way I can do it in a small amount of liquid is if the mixer is strong, like a shot or pure cordial.

Even if I smell G it makes me gag!
 
I'm either completely immune to the taste or have burnt all my tastebuds out cos I barely notice it even if it's hardly diluted at all. For the sake of one's innards though, it's probably better to dilute more rather than less I would think.
 
1 part GBL to 20 parts water and straight down the hatch.Can do it with 1:10 ratio though.Also tried it in 2005 with beer/tea/coffee/wine/vodka/lemonade/coke and was shit in each,especially 1:100 in beer,absolutely wrecks it.Its why I can't understand how people get spiked with the stuff,unless its downed in one its horrible.If someone put 2 ml in a girls pint to get her into bed or whatever these cuntish spikers do she would taste it with one sip and spit it out.I just have a really hard time believing that someone would drink a whole glass of guiced beer/wine etc without knowing.8(
 
I think it would be more of a shot thing? Plus I cant taste it in a glass of orange juice so I imagine some of these sugary alcopops would cover up the taste too?
 
Not at all convinced by the "date rape drug" thing myself. For a start, as mentioned, it tastes so strong that nothing much seems to really mask it fully - certainly not a real knockout dose. But also, there's almost never been anything other than alcohol found in the systems of the girls that report being drugged. How long is it in your system for? Would have thought there would be some trace left that would be picked up on a proper screening the next day, no? Obviously it's not going to show up if it wasn't reported for weeks.
 
I think its about 6 hours or thereabouts its detectable in urine.Although don't know for sure.I seem to remember back in about 2000 in the US when GHB became public enemy number one one of the reasons was because you can spike someone and by the time they are fully compass mentus (sp) its no longer detectable so the accused will just say she was drunk and came onto him and she said Yes to it all,and there was no definite proof in her bloodsteam that any spiking had gone on.Whereas if you use Rohypnol there is residuals in the system all the next day.
 
^^ Makes sense that it would be out of the sytem quick. 6 hours really is quick though. I think the police use blood tests, but not sure if that would make a difference?

Just found the study I was thinking of. It's not date rape victims but women who have turned up at A&E claiming to have been spiked that night. No GHB/GBL was found apparently. Sure GBL must have been used for nefarious purposes, but I really don't believe it's half as common as it's said to be.

"There has been a lot of media coverage in recent years, mainly focusing on just a few substances including Rohypnol and GHB, which has led to the perception that drinkspiking is a widespread practice. But most patients allegedly having a spiked drink tested negative for drugs misuse.

Christ the Daily Mail is the true horror of the Western world.Anyone who has ever worked for them should be punished in a most severe manner.That article came out on the same day in all the national press,so you could have quoted the Guardian or Independent instead!:)

The half-life of GBL is about 12 minutes, as it's rapidly converted into GHB. The half-life of GHB is something stupidly low, like an hour. You have to remember that GHB always exists in the human body, so a test for GHB will always show something. I'd say three hours would be enough for your blood to be 'clean' of a dose of G.
 
Yup, was either drink my own or go for double blind trials, Treac. Had no intention of drinking anyone else's piss so downed my own. Thing is, it was cold when I actually drank it. Warm piss doesn't taste bad at all really - wouldn't be my first choice of drink, mind. Cold piss tastes revolting. Mine did that day anyway. Ick! Cold piss is just bad, m'kay? Even for *ahem* science projects ;)

Unless you tried the piss warm, then left it to go cold. Sounds like someones telling porkies about only drinking his own piss once ;)
 
I think you're probably right actually, Rickolas. Just assumed they must be using some other test than urine if it's undetectable after just a couple of hours. That article that Treacle linked to mentioned that GHB is looked for in urine samples and, more to the point, is found in some in suspiciously high quantities. Suspiciously high for samples that aren't six months old, anyway :D
