I am not sure I have had cognac. Maybe I will give it a try. That is a nice looking bottle of Chalfonte. How much does it go for?

Not a wine guy at all myself, but Cognac most certainly is good. I remember when I was like 15-16 my friends and I stole a bottle of Remy Martin from my parents. My parents don't drink so I was like, Oh w/e they won't miss it. Turns out it was like a $200 bottle or something, haha, we all felt horrible when all we got was a light buzz each.

I love port too, but have you ever noticed there are some interestingly named ones...namely Harvey DRY SACK and COCKBURN.

lol.

Yes. I am a 12-year-old boy.

lol kc =D

A couple of nice bottles we have at home, not opened yet, got them from a local wine region.

lol thought I'd post a pic of this baby up too. Last year when I was drinking behind my partner's back (he didn't ever notice I was blind drunk when he got home from work??) I was drinking a bit of this port he got from my dad for the Christmas before...I thought he wouldn't notice???? lol!!

What was I thinking haha. I eventually had to 'fess up to him...obviously.
For a while I was refilling it with red wine so you couldn't tell but then I drank that too.
Hmmmm

Haha there is STILL a story that goes around in my family about me refilling one of my parents' bottles of gin with water after drinking it all lol!!!

Stupid teenagers 8)
:D

I thought I left enough.. lolll.
Mum called me when she found out and I tried to blame it on my older brother.
Didn't work=D
Teenage years are funny

That's not bad-- I once mixed ~10 mL from every bottle in my parents' liquor cabinet, since I didn't think that they'd notice it missing. Let me tell you, a cocktail made with over 3 dozen different spirits/liqueurs is mighty effective, but damn near toxic tasting. And not fun the following day.

Still, it lasted for a while. Most of the bottles were >20%, so it was a strong mix for a 17 year old.

LOL I did that too! Bombay Sapphire gin bottle 80% water. I thought it was smart!

Haha same here, when I was about 14, german schnapps (the aromatic spirit, not those flavoured liqueurs). God it tasted aweful at the time..... I think it was sitting around for so long my parents eventually threw it out when moving house. Lucky for me they never realised it was 90% water %)

Lol I drank a whole bottle of bombay saffire gin when I was 13 and didn't even get to refil it with water, woke up in hospital (not really my fault, I'd never drank before and i was curious what drunk felt like, I didn't know how much you needed to drink to get drunk, I thought, they sell it by the bottle, you must need a bottle, apparently not). My brother was not impressed at me for stealing his bottle of gin. but even less impressed were my parents lol.
On a possitive note, I threw up on the deputy principal, though can't remember it.

Oh gin is terrible terrible. I drank 500mL of it because I was drinking mixed before that and couldn't taste it. My friends dad thought it was water as it was in a water bottle and was making me drink it because I was wasted. Then he smelt it HAHA. Thought I was an alcoholic.
I was 15 too. I was very irresponsible with drinking. At 14 I had 3/4 a bottle of smirnoff in 10 minutes. Lucky I am not dead as my friends didn't want to get in trouble by calling an ambulance. Close call! Alcohol is a pretty dangerous drug.. Also bad because you totally black out, have no control and don't remember ANYTHING. It scares me!

my first experience mentioned above, sort of put me off drinking for life, I hardly ever drink, only if I feel I need to to be sociable, I'll have one or two.
Thank you kyle for your bottle of gin! lol
