f&t game - Question Thread!

Nice answer, same as me.

To answer your question, Three Amigos! Probably my most watched movie ever, could almost recite the script word for word.

Next question. Without naming the movie title, describe your favourite scene of all time.

There are many. Offhand, I'd say the scene where Patrick Bateman is calling his lawyer to confess.

He goes through so many different emotions in the three minutes he's on the phone leaving the message. Which is great, since he only showed one emotion throughout the entire movie.

Poltergeist. I was 8 and it scared the crap out of me!

If you could change the ending of any movie ever made, what would you change and why?

Not really a significant favorite, but I really thought the ending of As Good as it Gets was so anticlimactic, especially when he was giving that monologue outside Helen Hunts apartment. He should've just said goodbye, and walked away because he didn't need anybody anyway. Doh. Hollywood crap ending as usual.

I'm sure other posters could give better examples of movie endings they could change, but this thread died for a while :p :p ;)

Next question:
What actor/actress did you HATE before, but liked again after seeing a movie? Which movie was it and why?

i used to hate Jim Carrey until I saw him in The Truman Show. Finally he got a chance to act! I also really enjoyed him in Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind. In fact if anyone can suggest me some others of his like these i'd be truly grateful.

Is there a genre of movies that you secretly love? [I like sport movies XD] Which/Why? If not what is your favorite movie genre and recommend 3 movies from that genre?

I like occasional Hollywood crap. Armaggedon (lol I can see IP wagging his head at this one ;)), The Rock, Titanic, ET AL.

Nothing like a diet of insipid *blockbuster* crap to fuel my craving for more substantial eye and mind candy. %)

Next question:

What movie are you most embarassed to admit you like and why?

Legally Blonde because I have testicles.

Since Brandon Routh, the last guy to play Superman absolutely sucks, who would you like to see replace him?

Mark Wahlberg

How do you think Miley Cyrus will end up? Drug Addict, Successful Tween turned Actress/Singer, Dead, Drift off into Obscurity, D-List Celeb, Other?

She definitely will be a D-List Celeb, kind of like Fred Savage from the Wonder Years (plus lots of raunchy Maxim photo shoots)

^Impacto, you can write your question now! :D

oh that chick... whatever she is...

q: what will be the next extremely inappropriate sequel?

Favorite reality show...
OK, this is one of my guiltyest of guilty pleasures. Thought about starting a thread about it but then thought better.
There's a show on the Oxygen Network called Bad Girls Club. It's fantastic. Very simple concept. They get this group of hot girls of questionable mental health and upbringing. Then they put them in a house with an unlimitted supply hard liquor. Fistfights, backstabbing and general hilarity ensue.

Q: Worst vanity movie?
By "vanity movie" I mean a movie starring a non-actor or group of non-actors that was made for no other reason than to capatalize on their success in a different field. These usually star a singer or a band but occasionally athletes and other celebrities will make vanity movies.

I'm totally not shitting you, but Flash Gordon is also the first movie I remember seeing in the theater. Or I should say, the first I DISTINCTLY remember seeing.
My mom wanted to take us to see the Popeye movie with Robin Williams but I pitched a fit and made her take us to Flash Gordon instead. It's still in my top 5 favorite movies.
