Codeine and Benzo's

I just recently mixed xanax and Vicodin and had a great buzz. I took 30mg vic and 2.5 xanax. I was wondering how codeine would mix with benzos. Which benzo is the best to mix?

Yeah, mixing codeine and bezodiazepines is great combo, just be careful of OD-ing (it all depends on your tolerance to both), I'm curentlu on 30mg Methadone and 2mg Clonazepam

They both are central nervous system depressants so take less than you are used to, I don't know which Benzodiazepine would be best to mix since I only have Diazepam on a regular basis but I can give you a link to the Erowid Codeine Vault: FAQ

I've mixed valium and temazepam with codeine, they both worked a treat; maybe the valium moreso then the temaz.

Yeah, Codeine mixed with, especially short acting benzodiazepines, can give you a nice buzz. Not as great as hydrocodone or oxycodone but still effective. Don't over due it though.

Methinks this has much much more to do with the large dose of temazepam, supplemented by the alprazolam than it does to do with the codeine.

I've wondered about this for a long time because you get mixed signals from different people/forums. Some say that you really shouldn't be playing with it and others regurlaly mix them.

Was thinking about taking 120mg codeine with 1mg alprozalam and 1mg flunitrazepam but I decided to just stick to the bensos tonight(bummping up the doses a bit though ) . But how great are the risks of breathdeprevation? I mean with doses as small as 90-150mg codeine and say 1 mg xanax and 1 mg iktorivil or flunitrazepam?

you're luck to you're on methadone

in my country methadone and subuxone/subutex are illegal. so if you are in here, your withdrawal 1om mg diazepam three times a day, 50 mg seroquel (atipical antipsyhcotic and 200 mg (an anti-epileptic), Vitamin B's and hemodialyses two times a day (if you good at money)

so, you se they have only one allowed rcreational value drug is the diazepam (valium). relativily good at opioid withdrawal...

60mg of codeine gives me a nice warm feeling in my stomach, slightly nausiating but in a good way. Not much else tbh until i break the 150mg mark.

With tolerance it wount do much tbh

60 mg codeine- you feel well being and it works greatly analgesic, somtimes talktively,

120 mg codeine- you feel good when you're on alcohol bur effecs are very short

200 mg codeine- you feel realy realy good

250 mg codeine - it'^s my favorite.

300-450mg codeine: theese dose must not mix any other substance certainly. when here you ar dosing in it it is no way to not high and telefono old fiends

450-600 mg codeine- it can fuck your life. because 400 mg and beyond 400 mg has a cyle effect...(that means no effect on brain)

500 mg codeine: death reported

tou must very difficuld with codeine. Becausr it is not heroin. It's so sneak and destroy your life in a while...

I am 29 years old. I was succsessful at job an in relationship. I am a loser now for codeine...

Codeine is strong from here to all of us. If you're say is not true, you can try and you can see... But I don't advise...

with tolerance you will survive on that dose but without it.......... it doesnt look so good it could knock you out cold and u might not wake up

i once took 180 mg of dihydrocodeine and 60mg of librium and 20mg of nitrazepam i left about 1.5 hrs after the dhc and librium before taking the nitrazepam ...... i was smoking weed on it and i even drank some rum at the end

this was not clever and my tolerance was sky high! i felt strong CNS depression and my breathing had slowed down ..... this doseage can kill .... even those with some tolernace

be careful when mixing stuff up guys....

if you are gonna do it keep to like 60-90 mg of codeine(or equiv) and say maybe 5mg of diazepam(or equiv) MAXIMUM when starting this kind of thing (without tolernace to either opiates or benzos)... and no booze unless you wanna wind up dead - if you have a look at my avatar its a good example of someone who went too far combining pills.....

EDIT to answer your intial question - i found that codeine went well with ambien(zolpidem) and zopiclone (not benzos but they work with GABA-a sites in the same way..... )

codeine would prob go well with any benzo if used responsibly ....... try it wih alprazolam(xanax) if you can get it

Currently on 300mg codeine and 120 serepax (I have a medium benzo tolerance), also having just a tiny bit of wine on top.

I know my limits so I know I'll be safe.
