It was between amor and Pillthrill for me. Pillthrill's just looked exactly like a great shot in a Japanese flick. Beautiful. And it managed to capture the theme perfectly.

amor fati took it for me, it captivated me from the very first time I saw the photo. Just beautiful! Who is the girl by the way?? She is divine
I also really enjoyed Agnu's and BA's entries.

haha, thank you. That girl is my best friend, whom I used to date. I think she was 17 at the time of that picture though.

Honourable mention should go to Shambles-- your pic is like a 'where's Waldo' drawing. I see old-fashioned print pron, a Roald Dahl novel, The Exorcist, more art supplies than I've seen in one place outside of an art supply store, and a ton of CDs. What a fun room!

I had nada for this round & I toiled over this one because the subject of "freedom" seemed to mean more to the photographer, than to much the viewer. :/

I had to go with Pillthrill's, great colours, with a sense of freedom & as you said, "the whole world at her feet".

Close second was mr_p. Nice.

WannaBeADebaser, that is a picture postcard that most tourist shops in Scotland would love to have.

mr_p was my 2nd choice just cuz i like bird watching and photographing them.

My vote went to Impacto Profundo, cause his gave me a giggle. Pillthrill's was awesome, but she has a ton of votes already, and I'm a big Easy Rider fan.

I think I kind of missed the point, the picture made sense to me at the time, but looks really incongruous alongside the other entries.

Meh, that wasn't the best choice of pic for the theme. I should have saved it for a more appropriate theme...
