Hi there! Let me see if I can help you out here.
Ok, on the pills that had no reaction - those could possibly be piperazines, or some other inactive substance. Piperazines will not change colors with reagents, but could give a bubbling effect, similar to when you pour peroxide on a cut. The other pill that took 20-30 seconds to turn black and had orange swirls - I would say there is a low amount of MDxx and amphetamines. Good pills will usually turn purple/black within 5-10 seconds (sometimes instantly), and will have no traces of orange. If you are having to wait 20-30 seconds to see a color change, chances are there's not much MDxx content in the pill.
Hmmm...usually when a pill instantly changes with Marquis there are happy faces all around.

How many times did you roll prior to taking this pill over the summer? Sometimes when you have a prior heavy usage pattern, even a clean pill can feel speedy. Your brain can only take so much MDxx in one period, and continuing to drop can make you feel like you took a meth bomb. Or, it could be a case where the pills were MDE or another analog of MDxx, but this is pretty rare.
Hope this gives you a little more insight. Let me know if you have any more questions. Oh, and yay you! for getting a testing kit!
