Blurry self portrait. Created by spinning around really fast and using a slow shutter speed. I took this a couple of years ago whilst coming down from acid. :)

Oh my god I LOVE the last 2 photos!!
So many animals this round, so awesome :D

buzz is adorable; and reminds me (mad personality) of our lori, scooter. <3 she was raised in captivity as a breeder and was held in a 2x2 cage for most of her life. we bought her for $100; although after months of hand held persistance, soon found out she wasnt one to be tamed. my partner and i (regretfully) handed her over to the avian sanctuary here in qld; and she couldnt be happier. shes semi wild now, and just owns the hearts of her keepers and her roost. free as a bird.

my partner and i are mad bird lovers; and have at least 36 lori's come to our home every morning and noon. we have trained them with food to know to flock at 5am and 4pm for a safe feed in our back yard, and have several feeders set up for them (as theyre known to fight over the slightest territorial issues). i LOVE them, they have mad personality and are adorable birds.

Banquo, I love your picture. What's the tunnel?

Oh, so I just bought myself an SLR and I'm learning the ropes. Here's a picture I took of some jazz musicians at an art thing called Nuit Blanche in Toronto this year. It's blurry!

selfportrait-1.jpg

Self-portrait shot at my school using daylight balanced film, which makes tungsten lights look ridiculously orange.

It was hard to hold still for a one minute-long exposure, so I came out a tad blurry heh :\ Worked for this round though :D

...and great shot banquo! I love the colors/perspective and sense of movement. Def my fav so far!

Banquo, I love your picture. What's the tunnel?
thanks, 1234. it's a tunnel in yosemite that was dug straight through the granite. no support beams inside either. i was driving down the center of the road when i took the picture, steering with my knees, with both hands on the camera. =D there was a very clear vantage point down the road so that i could see no one was coming the other way.
