I voted LSD, on the notion that LSD is a lot stronger. That is, real, and high potency LSD.
If you ever get a chance to have a liquid dose of undiliuted LSD dropped right into your palm to lick up or on your tongue, then you will know that LSD does indeed give you more bang for your buck, as well as more visuals.
An eighth of dried cubensis mushrooms is 3.5grams. That's the dry weight. There's about 15-20mg of psilocybin in that.
my last LSD trip was my most intense, and it was with liquid LSD dropped onto my palm, five drops out of a dropper bottle....you know the kind...the stuff they have iodine in. Based on trip reports, wikipedia, and other media comparing it with my experience, duration, and visuals, I determined my dose to be around 500mcg....which would equal about 51g of psilocybin, an insane level of recreational dose for that drug, considering effects usually peak at about 30mg.
I know for a fact that I've done real LSD. Here's what I had:
I took the dose, five drops on my palm, and lapped it up with my tongue and let it soak in, which it did rather quickly. It was at an apartment about twenty miles from my home. Oops! Well, luckily I had a friend with me, let's call him D, D was the one who hooked me up and took me to the guy who dosed me.. So, we stayed at the apartment for a loooooong time (it seemed long, but me and D were only there for twenty minutes). We had smoked a bowl but for some reason the time had seemed like it was way more altered than being high on weed. I was wandering around, a little silly and confused, paranoid, and anxious. I felt rather weird altogether, lets call it that. So we left the apartment, and when walking back to my car, I started to feel reality change. I was thinking to myself, 'this is only going to get waaay more intense'. shit. '
And it did. I told my friend he'd better drive my car since he didn't dose.
And so, he started driving me back home. We went on a brige, and I looked out at the water. This was probably about thirty minutes after dosing. The water was boiling and was a purple color. The cars passing by us seemed all to be brand new and in perfect condition, going by in a slower motion than what I would normally see. My long distance perception was strange. Every 1000 feet or so there would be a 'layer' of background, like I was looking at a collection of gigantic paintings, pieced together to look like reality. So by now, we can determine that I was not in reality at this time onward. We got back to my home town, and we stopped by at D's friend's house. By then, it was probably about 45 minutes since dosing, and I was already seeing some really vivid colors and some flowing motion. Then we all played basketball, which accelerated the onset of my trip rather quickly. Halfway through bball, I stopped, and looked around. My car was glowing white,, brand new, looked like a racecar (it's a 2001 chevy malibu). look that up on google and tell me that looks nothing like a racecar hahaha! it looks like a grandma car normally...ahh funny.
The trees appeared to be dancing, waving around, looked like green fire. The basketball hoop was bending on it's pole in the middle like it had a knee, and going to this particular beat. The cement driveway was cracking all over and splitting apart, but then reforming into a perfect driveway, then repeating the process. D asked if I could give him a ride home. I told him I better not. I drove home by myself, a scary process. I was full on tripping out, and I still was far away from peaking.
I arrived home and it felt like I was experiencing my last day alive on earth. It was rather sad, depressing, and awakening at the same time, and making me feel like this was the best day of my life, filled with love. I heard the television in the living room on, the sounds coming from it were of an opera...although I'm sure I wasn't imagining that, though it was rather ironic that was part of my trip, it seemed like there was a symphony orchestra in my house playing my final songs. I was a little scared by this, but felt loved by both my parents. I made some food for myself, and it was poorly made, but it was delicious. I went to my room and everything was alive. All my walls were breathing and it looked like they were glowing and dimming slightly with each breath they took. Every object in my room was alive and in fluid motion. It was amazing. By then I was probably at the 4 hour mark, and peaking. Within about twenty minutes I started feeling really scared about how i thought this was my last day alive, and i experienced a bad trip. I cried a little and held my face in my hands, sitting on my bed...everything was intense...so many hallucinations that I couldn't handle, and I made so many connections with a possible death imminent for me, including how i had just gotten a new bed recently, and new towels and things in my bathroom, which was remodeled, and a bunch of other things that led me to believe I was given some final for-a-day royalty treatment before my demise, because these newest things in the house were accentuated and sorted out by LSD and myself. That was my bad trip, but as my peak ended, about the 7 or 8 hour mark, I started to have more relaxed feelings and like I was really going to make it and continue living. I felt like I had a near-death experience, in which I felt like I needed to make some changes in my life and become a better person. It has worked since then for me. The next morning I was still tripping just a little, at around 7am or so..I had gotten the dose at around 5:30pm or so the previous day...so it was a 12-14 hour trip, really long and intense, just like LSD is supposed to be.
And that's my insanely long story.
