has anyone ever tried evodia fruit? im looking into buying a 5x extract ..evodia fruit contains 5-meo-dmt as well as a few other tryptamines..
also a side question..i know the mods hate slang but i have heard both 5-meo-dmt and 5-meo-dipt being called foxy..which is it? thanks much. peace.

Foxy is a dumb name some people attach to 5-MeO-DiPT. 5-MeO-DMT thankfully doesn't go by any slang names that I am aware of. I have no info on your origional question.

A quick Google search was all it took Gents...
Really.
Evodia Fruit - Evodia rutaecarpa
Evodia fruit webpage
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
" They have been used in traditional Chinese medicine for 2000 years against stomach troubles and pain. They kill Helicobacter pylori, the germ that causes stomach ulcers, and are often used against headaches. They decrease the clotting ability of the blood and are useful in improving memory, especially in Alzheimer's. They also contain Cox-2 inhibitors and so are helpful in arthritis pain. Evodia fruit warms the interior and expels cold. Large doses (a typical dose of Evodia in TCM is 1.5-5 g) can stimulate the CNS and lead to visual disturbances and hallucinations, because they contain 5-MeO-DMT as well as other tryptamines. "

No mention of any extracts available but still a mention about 5MeO Dmt....Sounds interesting.....
hope I'm not breaking any guidelines......

According to Ott, dosages of 5-MeO-DMT greater than 35 mg are orally active. So if this is true, as long as one ate enough fruit to ingest 35 mg or more of 5-MeO-DMT they would experience the psychoactive effects of 5-MeO-DMT.

evodia on the stew

I bought a bag of Evodia - Rutaecarpa, 10g.

The instruction this herbal guru gave me were to boil 5g in the amount of water on cup contains. When boiling starts remove the brew. Let the brew stand to until almost cold.

The brew stands on the stew almost cold.

My hopes of a psychadelic journey are not great in this matter. Hopefully it will help my stomach tough.

An answer will follow after the oral experince.

Grind up the plant material in a coffee grinder first. 10g sounds like a bit over a heaping tablespoon. Put a teaspoon of vinegar in that cup of water to acidify it. While water can often be slightly acidic at a pH of 6.5, 5-MeO-DMT (I'm going to call it toad, foxy is for 5-MeO-DiPT) is barely soluble in water unless its acid. Put it all in a pyrex measuring cup and zap it in a microwave for 10 minutes, or until the vinegar taste boils off.

One other issue, only a couple DMT analogues are orally active. DMT and toad are not orally active. You either have to smoke them, or pre-dose with an MAO inhibitor. Toad is 5x as potent as regular DMT.

Incidentally, 5-MeO-DMT "scintillates". If you squeeze a pinch of it between your fingers in a dark room, you'll see light. And if you smoke it...

If anyone has any experience or research or extraction about what percent of Evodia is 5-MeO-DMT, and what percent is DMT, inquiring minds want to know. Might be good to find that out before you dose.

So 5-methoxyDMT exhibits piezoluminescence, just like LSD? That's a pretty rare effect - there aren't many compounds where their crystals can convert mechanical energy into light; the piezoelectric effect (voltages formed by squeezing crystals) is a lot more common effect

Hmm, I was wondering what that term meant, but wasn't in the mood to simply google it and find out. But that sure is interesting, I have a little 5-Meo-DMT in my possession, maybe I'll have 'play' around with it and see the light - maybe then I'll finally test it out and (just so I can make a cheesy joke) "see the light" (or the void rather, but like I said, for the cheesy joke's sake). Har Har ;)

Thank god we've got F & B on Bluelight :)....and please lets not call 5-Meo-DMT toad. Anyway, interesting read, I have never previously heard of this 'fuit'.

sorry to bring up an old topic, but i think toad is rather appropriate. i believe it is a species of cane toad (bufo alvarius) that contains a rather large percent of this compound in it's venom glands.

plus, calling it toad brings back fond memories of a great family guy episode.

You've got to give it up
You got to give up the toad now
It's no joke buddy, give it up
You got to give up the toad now
Or you'll croke
You've got to give it up,
And don't smoke
Or you will see,
It hurts to pee

There'll be blood, gushing from ya
Everytime that you cough
And forget getting lucky,
It falls off

Give it up
Got to give up the toad now, Oh-oh-oooh
I'm no fool, Lando's cool
YEAH!!!

Come on, how can toad not be cool? It's all the rage these days %)

I think everyone should leave those animals alone and get some pure 5-MeO-DMT that is not part of a venom. Also, we've got a big & dandy thread on those Bufo's, check the index.
