Really Sad Movies vs. lik dis if u cry evertim ;_;

"boys don't cry"

i tell you, every time i watch that movie (no matter who i watch it with or if i watch it alone) i SOB for the entire last 1/3. that story is sad enough on its own as a movie, and then you find out it's based on a true story.

Ordinary People

Conrad Jarrett is the most depressing yet lovable character ever.

Gladiator. The end brought tears to my eyes.
Shindler's List. That little girl made me ball.

One of my favorites...have the DVD of this. Yeah....love a good cry. :)

I cry buckets whenever I watch the Notebook, The People Vs. Larry Flynt, The English Patient, Kramer vs. Kramer and Legends of the Fall....yeah, I'm a sap.

Oh and this one.....Once Around.

I totally agree with you, although the movie is interspersed with segments that convey a feeling of hope, especially the last segment with the stars. So, I never walk away from Baraka sad -- usually I just leave the movie with a better understanding of life and a bit of hope for the future.

Anyway, my pick for a sad movie: Grave Of The Fireflies.

This movie made me cry, and I never cry watching movies. It's so sad.
