News Bluelight is turning 27!

Twenty-seven years ago, a small group of people decided that honest conversation about drugs would keep more people safe than silence would. That idea became Bluelight.org.

Since then, millions of people have come here looking for information, usually from someone who had been in the same spot. Some of you have been here for two decades. Some of you joined last week. All of you are the reason this place works.

One thing hasn't changed in 27 years: Bluelight is independent and run by volunteers. Our moderators, admins and board give their time for free. Nobody tells us what we can or can't say, which is why you can trust what you read here.

Independence has a cost, though. Hosting, security and software all have to be paid for, and we rely on this community to cover them.

So for our birthday, we're asking for one thing: if Bluelight has ever helped you or someone you care about, please consider a donation. Every amount helps, and every dollar goes into keeping Bluelight running.

I spent like an hour last night confused because no pfps were showing in this thread except Tronicas. I thought the alphabet boys were tinkering with my internets lol.

That would be rather strange. I hope it's reverted back to normal as I have no desire to wipe our everyone else's profile pics!

Same for me. Giant Tronica snails (but only above (as opposed to beside) some of her posts) but every other post is nekkid.

Maybe I’m missing something?

I never looked at the Announcement page since being here and for one the poster making a comment doesn’t always show the posters status,or if they are staff of just a just a regular forum member,and the page didnt look the same color with the light blue background it looked a lot lighter shade of blue ,,then when I hit the $25 one time donation on my iPad using Apple Pay it showed up as a recurring $18.60 monthly payment,I tried it three times and it kept happening,so I thought instantly thats some dope fiend sshhiitt,, that’s why I made my post,,,and I tried it again just a few minutes ago and it worked the way it should have.. So happy anniversary Bluelight I learned a lot here and broke a few peoples balls Im sure but thats just me being me…

But look i best not get no emails or phone calls in the middle of the night saying your payment didnt go thru can you please repeat it cause then I’ll really know theres just a bunch of fiends running this bazaar we call Bluelight

Got my 20y chip t’other week. Definitely not proper oldskool… but old enough for me

So many things have changed in my life since joining. But, most importantly, i almost certainly wouldn’t have been around to see any of it without the vital HR info to be found across the site.

BL remains for good reason imo. A true community who truly looks out for each other

Thanks, man! This place has gone through many (many) changes, but the community aspect is what makes it truly special.

Plus, I would never have met the woman I’ve spent over ten very happy years with now if it wasn’t for BL.
