Just wondering - since it's now NOVEMBER, is Co-codamol now back in stock?

To me the odd thing is that plain 30mg codeine tablets are prescribable and of course plain paracetamol is about 45p for 32.
I did look into it a little and it appears that the 7 generic manufacturers work on a razor-thin profit margin and oddly, they chose to claim it was a shortage of paracetamol rather than codeine that was the cause. The reality being that the Indian manufacturers OF the paracetamol were hit by oil prices since phenol is just one of those products IN hydrocarbons.
To me it's bizarre that NHS contracts don't cover cases where due to loss of profitability, manufacturers can make the somewhat dubious claim that there was no paracetamol. I don't recall seeing shortages of it BUT equally, I almost never use it. So I could be wrong. Was plain paracetamol also unavailable?

NHS trusts also report disruption to supplies last winter of co-codamol and blood pressure medication ramipril
