Returning to Heroin after a long absence

TBH, the supply is so unpredictable now that I wouldn't risk it. Even finding something sold as heroin doesn't mean that's what you're getting. Fentanyl has changed the game completely, and it's not worth gambling with the life you've managed to rebuild.

I lived in Phoenix in the 90’s for 6 months and that the first time I tried tar and I can’t understand how the Mexican farmers altogether just gave up their livelihood by growing the poppies for the cartels just because fentanyl was the latest greatest thing to hit the drug world, yeah Im sure chemicals are dirt cheap compared to the labor involved in grow and making tar heroin from them but their was still profit to be made for all involved, i know damn well them farmers that use to grow it ain’t involved in the fentanyl trade because it’s not their specialty, but on the east coast tar never made it this far it was always powder heroin,Im in Jersey right across the River from nyc,,a recent bust was made by the local narc’s and the prosecutor’s office labeled it as heroin, not the usual fentanyl sold in glassine bags, and the indictment which is online labeled it as heroin,so it still does exist but I guess you just got really go out and hunt for it,,,but I really find it hard to believe that tar don’t exist out west anymore….

I did heroin again after a 15 year or so absence and can confirm it was one of the least thought out mistakes of my whole life ......

Its not the same. It will never be what you expect it to be again.

It gave me comfort knowing that no matter how utterly miserable my life became, I could always get back on heroin.

Now heroin isnt heroin anymore and that invokes a despair like no other.
Absolutely know what ur talking about. I hear all my old dope spots that I haven't been to in 15-20 years it's all fetty even the new blood that run the spots are different. They're complete aholes and treat us like junkies when they used to be cool and treat u like a human maybe spot u 1 or 2. I actually blame music on this, hear me out, u listen to rap years ago u were the shit if u had women, nice car, money, bling now it's about how many bodies u have so their more aggresive and just psychos, also the gangs arent even ran the same way. They don't care if people od on their fetty and xylazine crap cuz it's so addictive their will be somebody to replace u in a few weeks.

I quit heroin when all I could get is tar. I counts wrap my mind Aron d shooting shoe
polish. I sure wouldn’t go back to shooting any kind of dope now. Heroin is a thing of the past. Everything now is synthetic, and you never know what you’re getting or how potent it is. Just Leave it alone. Even if you did find real heroin, you would just have monkey on your back again.

I got my first tat in Tucson, got a whole story about that experience when I feel like typing it out.
We were in Tucson and I turned legal age to get a tat while we were down there so decided to get my 1st. We picked out a place and when we got up the next morning we were supposed to go to a breakfast place but it was packed so I said fuck this because I wanted to get my first started and was pumped up so we left. After we got done with tats and we got back to hotel it was night and I was was watching local news and the headline was that some guy went into that restaurant and shot the place up killed a few hurt a lot just when we would have been there. So I that are tats might have saved mine and my families life.
