🌟🌟 Social 🌟🌟 What TV Shows are You Binging v. Cut That Cord!

Just wrapped up Ted Lasso (love it). Mobland is pretty good, too. I've been enjoying the new season of Dark Matter.
just finished Ep 5 Mobland and am intrigued as how they runout the rest of this season with the bar set so high IMO.
IIRC season 1 was good but didn't have the same effect on me as the first 5 so far of season 2.
Never thought I would give it another chance, until I did, and now I am pleasantly surprised and hope they keep that high bar set if not raised.

3 Episodes from finishing Season 1 of Avatar: Seven Havens, loving that this generation of kiddos will be getting such a quality combination of animation and storytelling like I grew up on, very pleased with what IRL Team Avatar has been giving us with this new Story Arc

So it’s decent?

I have legend of Korra along with the original series on Blu-ray but only ever watched Korra once. Really didn’t capture what made the OG series so good.

Do you think with the amount of series churned out by all the platforms the quality is not as good as it used to be when shows needed actual audience ratings to stay on air or at least get a second season

So far all of my complaints I think can be met with "I'm not the intended audience" and even then I've quite enjoyed it, though it has also made me mad at some points too I admit!

Struggling to compare it to Korra only one season in, I feel like it's trying to regain some of that early Avatar feelings at times though. Excited to see how the ending of the first season sticks the landing.

idk i feel like i've seen some great stuff recently be poorly advertised and bomb as a result and it makes me think the current consumer rating system isn't actually designed to encourage quality art properly but i also don't have much context for how it used to be

I suppose it comes down to personal taste ,my wife binge watches series constantly but the only ones I can watch are the wire and ones of similar high quality

Oh no spoilers but um, yea, that ending was fucking fire. (Season 1 of Avatar: Seven Havens) A wonderful season of animation, they stuck the landing very well. Pretty much all of my grumbles melted away and my boyfriend and I found ourselves cheering out loud ahahaha
