In the late 50’s/early 60’s CIBA Pharmaceuticals had on market Ritalin 100mg multi dose glass bottle of IV/IM/SC injection. 10mg to 20mg IV administration twenty minutes prior to talk therapy to promote a more talkative patient during therapy sessions

The Pharmakinetics of IV injected Methylphenidate strongly mirror the subjective effects of IV Cocaine HCL. Both compounds compete for the same binding centres in the CNS, Methylphenidate actually being slightly more potent at the DAT (nearly 2X more potent than Cocaine actually - regarding ED-50) however Methylphenidate has negligible effects on the SERT as Cocaine has strong efficacy at serotonin transporters

Cocaine users in a medical study had difficulty determining if they received IV Cocaine or IV Methylphenidate (Ritalin), both compounds enduring positive reinforcement effects and robust euphoria

Injecting hi dose Ritalin (Methylphenidate) is VERY potent & euphoric……..both Ritalin (Methylphenidate) and Preludin (Phenmetrazine) were highly sought after by hi dose injection users when pure powder was diverted onto the illicit market …..especially when Phenmetrazine was voluntarily removed from the market …..large quantities of pure API compounding powder of Preludin were available in Europe after the drugs removal

Phenmetrazine (Preludin) apparently was Extremely euphoric and desirable…..even more desirable and sought after than even IV Methedrine (d-Methamphetamine) by many users

Ritalin (Methylphenidate) was also very sought after by injection users as it’s subjective effects are nearly identical to that of Cocaine…..and unlike Cocaine, Ritalin MPH is 100% pure pharmaceutical grade Methylphenidate with zero adulterants or cuts, etc

I would love to try IV ritalin but the person i get a few off every month only gets concerta which as far as i know cant be IVed. Ir would be a much safer option then IV coke as well. Methylphenidate isnt cardiotoxic like IV coke. Also you wouldnt have the seizure problem. I seied up after slamming a 1/3rd of a gram of coke lol. Dont know wtf i was trying to do there lol.

Do you get tunnel vision and a bell ringer with methylphenidate? I honestly cant see it having more of a initial rush then IV coke but it would definetely last longer and you wouldnt have to worry bout dying lol

Is IV ritalin really that much better from snorting it or something? I've been using ritalin myself after a few weeks of daily but responsible meth use (slept every night, typically around 50-75mg in the morning and maybe 25mg-50mg at lunch, and I have chronic downregulation/permatolerance).

Anyways, snorting isn't that much better than oral. I have a hard time imagining IV being close to IV cocaine, although you are correct their pharmacological effect is remarkably similar on paper, and I don't IV, so I'd be inclined to believe you as well.

I've also messed around with the RC which simply has an additional methyl group, methylmethylphenidate. I would describe it as more euphoric and closer to cocaine in effect, but also much less potent (I'd say it is 3-5x less potent by weight/dose than ritalin) and an even shorter duration of about 1hr (ritalin being around 3hr).

Ultimately was a waste of money and very cost ineffective, but I did enjoy it I guess while it lasted. A gram of that RC cost around the same as a gram of pure cocaine, but was much less desirable in effect. Never bought it again. But in terms of RC stims, it was OK I guess, mainly because it felt relatively safe, functional (discounting it's short duration and moreishness) and less neurotoxic than shit like pyros.

I’ve also had large quantities of 4F-MPH (being 3.33X more potent at DAT than regular MPH) and Isopropylphenidate/ IPH (which has only 1/3 Norepinephrine affinity than regular MPH, giving IPH an improved safety profile)

Methyl-Methylphenidate I’ve heard was very good…….Ethylphenidate/ EPH is Very euphoric, however it MUST be dextro-threo-Ethylphenidate (professionally synthesized and correct isomer) Identical to Ritalin but slightly less NET so larger doses are tolerated (cardiovascular speaking)

Ritalin (Methylphenidate) considered in medical literature as a “Classic Amphetamine” and nearly identical to Cocaine in their MOA, both being classified as “Inverse Agonists” preventing the reuptake of monoamines but in addition, causing the indirect increase & release of the monoamines (in a different MOA than true Amphetamine releasers)

Taking Ritalin with a fatty meal speeds absorption (toasted egg, breakfast ham/or bacon, orange juice) and consuming ethanol with Methylphenidate causes the increase of d-MPH by 40%, significantly increasing the euphoric effects in all study participants (medical journal study) …the inactive metabolite Ritalinic Acid is produced, in addition to l-Ethylphenidate when consumed with ethanol (alcohol) ….its not d-EPH produced….only levo-EPH

Ritalin & Ethanol increase d-threo-methylphenidate (Focalin) by 40% significantly increases euphoric and mood-boosting effects

For me…..Methadone, Ritalin (Methylphenidate), Diazepam (Valium), Pregabalin (Lyrica) in an oral Cocktail with breakfast…then drinking 3-4 Gin cocktails throughout the next 3 to 4 hours is a VERY pleasurable oral Brompton Cocktail ….for real chronic pain due to medical condition

My coveted Brompton Cocktail is a daily staple for approximately 20 years

Opioid narcotic (absolutely essential)
Dopaminergic stimulant (absolutely essential)
Benzodiazepine
Gabapentinoid
Ethanol (Gin)
Nicotine (premium Belmont cigarettes)

Optional analgesic compound used - Ketamine HCL
Cocaine is substituted for Ritalin when run out

I wet my nasal cavity with clean bottled water, as the pulverized Ritalin powder is water soluable hydrochloride salts and will snort several nice lines and I enjoy it…..within a minute I can feel a pleasant sensation creeping in and after the Opioids takes effect…..snorting Ritalin while consuming Ethanol /Gin is super pleasurable & euphoric

However, taking my Methylphenidate orally is still great…as it has high oral bioavailability, in addition taking with a fatty meal aids in absorption, and consuming Ethanol with Ritalin increases d-MPH (Focalin) by 40% enhancing the drugs euphoric properties
