i had this idea yesterday that bryan johnson’s blueprint protocol is basically the level 10/10 expression of someone who is very autistic and obsessed with being #1 at reversing aging through measuring biomarkers.

i thought maybe what soured people against him was that it seemed like he expected people to follow a literally insane regimen requiring vast resources, time and discipline.

so i thought: what would level 1/10 of his ‘blueprint’ protocol look like?

the 80/20 rule says that roughly 80% of results often come from about 20% of the causes or effort.

i used gpt to generate levels 1–9 (level 10 is what bryan does), but i’m focusing on level 1 because that’s what currently interests me.

i gEnUiNeLy feel that if someone had handed this to me a decade ago, in my early 20s, it would have been invaluable info.

here we go..

P.S. if you think this is AI slop, fair enough, but i’m interested in critiques of the actual protocol.

It looks like healthy stuff and makes sense since i understand the benefit of the points.

I think if someone is new to self-care, they might get overwhelmed with the information and may need to be explained why those are important.

it would be interesting to hear that perspective if that’s the case for some people.

i’m starting from being online 12+ hours a day, smoking weed all day, so this is just an a4 poster for me to reference in my room.

with the intention of integrating these self-care habits into my daily life.

If it's for your personal use only, I think it's great. Just don't pressure yourself too much to be too perfect too soon. Any progress is good progress.

you got me at "no sun staring" lol
i’ve never been one to sun-gaze (knew a chick in the psych ward who did, and she had small black dots in her eyes [yikes]).

i managed to proofread this multiple times and somehow not connect that i didn’t need to instruct myself not to stare into the sun unless it’s sunrise/sunset briefly.

Hahah, it's alright gives it a bit of comedic relief. Staring directly at the sun is fucking nuts, didn't become blind or atleast suffer some severe vision problems atleast? It's illadvised to even look at an eclipse without proper glasses as it can cause serious eye damage.

if you can visibly see the damage as a third party, i have to assume she had black spots in her vision. i never asked how her vision was (not blind tho or noticeably vision impaired) because i probably felt that was too heavy to bring up to someone i’m getting to know.

i did try to discourage her from doing it, which maybe planted a seed, but she was in a very vulnerable place and still pretty disconnected from reality.

Gotcha, seems very reasonable that it wouldn't be the best way to break the ice when getting to know someone you just met lol
