Fuck where did I put my beakers and bunson burner
Ethyl Acetate isn't 'as' available though.. Do you mind elaborating?Try ethyl acetate. This solvent is way more effective than acetone and the same process. You don't even need to filter. Just add in beaker, stir for a few min, wait 30 secs so the coke layer at the bottom forms, pour off the clearer EA, add more EA and repeat, then scoop goop up on to drying surface (hotplate optional) and wait at least 24 hours. I done it in 8 hours after hotplating the whole time but you should wait 24.
Thank me later.
where ya getting ethyl acetate around here w/o lab connections (Sigma Aldrich etc)Try ethyl acetate. This solvent is way more effective than acetone and the same process. we just need the leaves we got it from thereFeels easier to go to columbia at this point almost but I am not brilliant lol
Lab grade. Amazon.where ya getting ethyl acetate around here w/o lab connections (Sigma Aldrich etc)
Making it yourself needs glacial acetic acid, sulfuric acid catalyst, ethanol 95% and magnesium sulfate/calcium sulfate drying agents
when a single trip can get ya acetone at hardware store, but ya right ethyl acetate can be used

mL/g? Temperatures? Where to scource it from? Repeat only once? Why 24 hours
Following the same instructions as if it were acetone. Dried with or without hotplate 24-48 hours. Coke is less soluble in EA than acetone. Seems to be more effective IE final product seemed higher quality. Just be mindful of fumes and flammability. No filtering necessary. Just stir for a few min then wait 30 seconds and pour off the EA layer while the coke rests at the bottom. Repeat once or twice. I don't know how true this is but someone with a chemistry background commented that even the less soluble cuts will be suspended above the coke layer after the coke rests at the bottom. I've tested this by filtering the poured off layer with a bukner funnel (not necessary) and the material left on the filter seemed to be inert, compared to the dried product rested at the bottom.Ethyl Acetate isn't 'as' available though.. Uh oh. Welp maybe I dun goofed. I ordered a gallon (4 qts). But only for personal amounts obviously.youre right,
but theres no scientific hard set rules as to why youre right:
It comes down to 4 major factors, solubility, polarity, dispersion forces, and H-bonding
IMHO, acetone serves the same purpose as the ethyl acetate EXCEPT if water or high humidity is present
"Ethyl acetate and the European connection
Ethyl acetate is a polar aprotic solvent, which makes it suitable for dissolving cocaine base before processing it into cocaine hydrochloride. Record amounts of close to 50400 liters of ethyl acetate were seized in Europe in 2019 and 2020. The vast majority of these seizures occurred in the Netherlands (see Quantity of ethyl acetate seized in Europe)."
Its watched in large batches, and that amazon is only a middle man to the lab for lab grade Ethyl Acetate (besides nail polish remover)
Its legal in USA in all forms, however its a hazardous listed substance requiring extra shipping costs and theyre sure gonna place you on a watch list if you purchase multiple orders over time - why does this person need a drum of ethyl acetate
Itll work as a great cocaine base solvent, and ethyl acetate is not miscible with water (aceteone is,) so you would get two distinct layers if any water was involved
