Seen this before? Truly one of the best things I've ever seen & heard on Shaka by miles.

It goes from the really start of Sound culture in Jamacia to Windrush generation, the reason why The UK was such fertile ground for The Sound Culture of Jamacia, the rise of Dub & Shaka's system etc.
The host plays so many tunes from the early days of Shaka to the movie Babylon & right through the decades, this is proper education in music.

the irony is several of them have been exposed for saying a while ago refugees were welcome in The UK and all that classical "Leftist" thinking.
How strange that they have changed their mind now loads of random men from places where Sunni Islam is the main faith system they don't want them held till their asylum claim is checked out.

The local Sainsburys and Waitrose will have to start selling Halal meat, the call to prayer being broadcast several times a day etc sure isn't looking such a good thing now.

These are the type of people who think a holiday in Saudi Arabia is something to aspire towards, I guess with a bit of Climate Change and a bunch of Sunni nutcases now living next to them it's saved the travel costs.

The guy who hosts it has his own soundsystem & despite being "Asian" is a proper Sound Man & his stack of speakers looks some serious business.
You can always tell a Proper Sound Man from the stack they have, he only has 4 Subwoofers but the box they are hosted in is SCOOPED OUT so you know it's pushing a huge amount of air so the bass hits you in the chest, you know that feeling if you heard Shaka & Dillinja.

It always makes me smile when you see cars at one of these cruises & the idiots think they need to have 2/3 subwoofers crammed in the boot, all you need is 1 subwoofer run on a old style Tube Amp & a decent box that can push the air out, you know just like I do a single subwoofer in the correct box can do some serious bass business & make it feel like you cannot breath more than 3-4-5 subwoofers in the wrong box or run on a shitty amp.

Gimme an old tune Amp from the 1960's than anything made in the last year, just like Shaka said many times "people think I turn the volume up as the night goes on, I don't do that as I use an old tube amp & it has to warm up"
Anyone that says different to what Shaka said is an idiot & knows nothing about how sound moves.
 
Getting ready to go again with this tonight, it takes me a few days to get ready to smoke Salvia as I've had several trips on it since I found it about 15-20 years ago when it was very new to The West.
I've been truly terrified by it at times, other trips have been very weird but not scary to the point I am scared beyond words.

I have said before I rate this stuff way above 5-MeO-DMT & N,N DMT but to smoke Salvia I have to take several days of thinking, praying, meditation etc before I even load the Bong which says it all.
Anyone who has smoked 5-MeO & N,N will agree if they have had a full on break through trip with that stuff, those who have never tried it will scoff at what I say & think nothing is more potent & Reality bending than 5-MeO which I simply say "Go smoke a good dose of Sally D then say the same thing"

I gotta ask here, I respect your experience of tripping @Shambles as you have taken a wide selection from PIHKAL & TIHKAL & if I remember correctly you actually enjoyed 2C-E & went back for another go which I sure didn't, after the 1st trip I threw the rest away which I have never done with any drug but with 2C-E I sure did & was fucking GLAD to be rid of the dam stuff to say the least, why I went & placed an order for 3C-E after is beyond me but I didn't throw that away & ate the lot over the space of 8-10 months but I will never do it again I can promise you that much.
You smoked Salvia before I assume? If yes what do you make of it? What happened to you etc?
If you wanna reply to me via DM feel free, I have said to someone from BL who gifted me some Salvia he had made himself, it's normal leaf but is coated in pure Salvinorin A, he made it himself & I am not going to name the person as it's not right BUT I can promise you the guy took the upmost PRIDE in his creation & I accepted his kind gift with 100% RESPECT & was HUMBLED I was granted a sample of his work, it's the best & most potent Salvia I have ever smoked & you can feel the potency but also how "clean" it is, the plant is "aware" of the love the chemist took in making it & you can FEEL the plants spirit" when you smoke it.
I am very eager to read a reply if I am granted one from you on this topic.

I have NEVER had any respect for people who used to upload videos of their mates smoking Salvia to youtube a few years back, they "spike" their mates with stupid doses then film their reaction to it, this is the UPMOST DISRESPECT to the plant & what it can do, I have always found those types of people to be total cunts & sick in the mind.
You show Salvia total DISRESPECT it'll CRUSH YOUR EGO & make you live for 100,000 years as a rock in some strange 7 Dimensional world or make you meet "the Old Man of The Shoe" who is equal to the DMT Machine Elf things & the man of the show always sets people insane tasks which they have to do or he gets mad.
The last smoke of Salvia I had was around 6-7 weeks ago & was early in the morning, it wasn't a huge dose to say the least & was the stuff I was gifted by a EADD member, I had BBC Radio4 on & I got such a STRONG "Time Loop" it felt like it was going on forever, I had spoken to the plant BEORE I smoked it & had a god chat with it for 5 mins before I did it, the pkant seemed to KNOW I was coming to it as HUMBLE as possible & was trying to be a friend to it as I have learned thee hard way before on 1 trip it'll SMASH your ego to dust & laugh at you for being so human & thinking you are more "powerful" than it is

I so wish the "spirit" of the plant had 100% SMASHED her to pieces & humbled her ass.
I've only smoked Salvia in bad company once, the trip was weird as fuck, I could see these weird green "seaweed" things in the air & when I looked at my flatmates face he went into a weird grin like some Demon from The Bible & he smiled & his grim split his face & went from ear to ear, he was EVIL & you could "see" his twisted Ego & how truly bad he was despite trying to hide his nasty ways under some bullshit Hippie ethos.

After I came down I could NEVER see him the same way again & it broke our connection / friendship as what the Salvia showed me was his "true nature" & he moved out soon after I had that trip.

I'd have no issue in smoking big doses of N,N DMT once a week if I had access to it with no issue, I really like N,N DMT but to smoke Salvia 3-4 times in a year is more than enough for me, it takes me a good 2-3 months to process each experience & my 1st trip on it I had a total breakthrough & the effect is something all these decades later I have still not managed to fully break down & process.

watched all of this, great vid.

I was into photography many years ago and tried everything from landscape to weddings, to portrait, but I loved street photography a lot, there's something about capturing real life - I fucking love old street photos showing the way we were for example.

I struggled to do the street stuff myself, I always felt too out of my comfort zone and a bit creepy (even though there was nothing of that in me at all), it really put me off sadly, such a shame, think it takes a certain kind of person to do it.

he's captured some amazing characters in those photos, real people, real lives!
 
Moog is so quick to talk about War & all that comes with it & I cannot wait to see him having to dodge .50cal rounds & drones packed with C4 being flown at his head.

i've been a fan of photography for ages & I love the work of people like Daido Moriyama.
I always used to shoot "street" & like you said it sure does take a special kind of person to shoot that style.

Tatsuo Suzuki imho is the best Japan has to offer, I love Moriyama & went to Tate in London to see a display of his work but Suzuki just has the edge over others.

not familiar with either of these, I love Japanese culture though so will check them out.

You're one of a very small few that in my view can grasp the fact none-duality isn't a free pass to act like a total cunt. If you never read The Avadhuta Gita and / or The Ashtvakra Gita i highly suggest to get a free PDF and read it as you'll understand it.

The stupid Neo None-duality lot are all fucking insane, to say rape and murder are fine because you aren't actually doing the act is beyond stupid, it's equal to saying if I set myself on fire nothing is actually happening because reality as we see it is illusion, this is why I sit partly in the camp of Left Hand Path Tantra.
