The Catholic Church organized people's religious lives for over a thousand years in Western Europe. They had a monopoly. No Catholic Church no Western Civilization. It would be great to "overthrow" them, just like the billionaires and the bourgeois, but history has shown time and again that the people doing the "overthrowing" usually end up being far worse, murderous, and not very well disposed towards their fellow citizens' civil liberties.
