Will i see a decent government before i die?

Keeping my oath, following my religion
You will find me on my land
I belong to my people, I sacrifice my soul for them
My blood is Palestinian, Palestinian, Palestinian
My blood is Palestinian

We stood for you, our homeland
With our pride and Arabisim
Al-Quds land called us
(As) The sound of my mother calling me
Palestinian, Palestinian
My blood is Palestinian

Keeping my oath, following my religion

Et-cetera.

She was elected. Just the mention of religion is distasteful enough.

More enrichment from the other side:

I mean, all the males in my family were issued with black clothes and a balaclava at the age of sixteen, but this is just ineffectual troublemaking.

FFS, looks like about 20 people in that photo. What about all the pro Palestinian bunch in balaclavas blocking city centres every fuckin Saturday?

That woman is such a dick. Plumber my fuckin arse! More like Andy Pandy in her multicoloured dungerees.

The only ring splitter she's familiar with is her boss, Spac Polanski, the snaggle toothed tit whispering grifter :ROFLMAO:

To any pedants out there, yes, I know that a ring splitter isn't specifically a plumbing tool (though it could be used for removing olives from copper pipes), but 'pipe cutter' wouldn't have suited my narrative... 😉

Jesus fuckin christ (note no capitalisation), I still can't quote a post without geting an 'oops' message. Very frustrating.

But regarding the screaming harridan that got attacked at the Reform conference, disgusting though the response was, what do you expect when you enter the lion's den shouting "I'm a piece of meat"?

Have these people got no self awareness or sense of self preservation?

Not justifying the reaction at all, but sometimes you've just got to read the room, literally...

We're importing US culture wars at such a rate now.

I stupidly looked at the Red shithole today, and it was alright to call Liz Truss a 'mong', but what about if it was a Down's kid!?

So fucking frustrating.

Nope. Not having it. Legitimate protest shouldn’t result in a beating. However annoying it may be it’s not on to be just clumping cunts.

However, I’m still not losing any sleep. It’s wrong but, much as with the “antifa” stuff, FAFO innit.

Anybody have any views?

If I developed dementia, for example, I'd be happy of an easy way out. Same goes for other conditions. Even if you're just not enjoying life, it should be your call.

My own condition isn't going to improve. Poor me.

Perhaps put a bar on it that you can't do it without special dispensation under 25.

At this stage I suspect that I might assist my own dying, whether it's legal or not, if I was to be stricken with some horrible long drawn out miserable and painful dying over the process of many months or even years. I can truly imagine getting prescribed codeine and paracetamol at best FFS. That's all my Gran received, and I don't think my Dad was on ANY pain killers for his cancer. Although my step-dad was on Morphine (this was in Australia, perhaps things are better there?)_

It doesn't seem to enter the heads of most people, to end their suffering. I don't know if perhaps when you actually get to that stage, there's some shift in perspective and endurance or something, and you just want to stoically live with or die with whatever ails you, and keep fighting for another day of life.

I just caught some MP talking about this on the news saying most people's deaths are gentle due to the excellent palliative care they receive. I don't think that has been the experience of the 2 most recent deaths in my family, (my grandmother, and my father) which is my main personal reference point.

I mean, if I had terminal cancer with months to live, and was only given codeine, and was in agony and totally miserable, as if I wouldn't take matters into my own hands.

The way things are going with internet surveillance though, it might not always be so easy to order drugs online. But I imagine there'll be workarounds.

It seems that the truly dystopian future is that all new computers and phones will monitor everything you do, but those with some knowledge will be able to circumvent most of that, one way or another. (Refuse to use Microsoft accounts and Windows, and use a privacy based Linux o/s instead, or a phone with the privacy o/s, is it Graphene or something? I don't have much knowledge or skills with smart phones, but I can muddle by, and figure things out, and solve problems on computers.)

Absolutely!

This fuckin government is really pissing me off now. So it's ok to kill an unborn baby just because you don't want it, but putting a terminally ill patient out of their suffering is not ethical? WTF?

For the record, I'm in full support of abortion, but it should also be available at the end of life, not just the beginning.

On another note, when the government first started getting accused of two tier justice, I dismissed it as some looney right wing bollocks. "Surely our justice system is impartial?" Or so I thought...

But now we hear that anti migrant protesters will 'feel the full force of the law' if wearing face coverings on demonstrations. Now, the Pro Palestine, Antifa and generally looney lefties have been wearing face masks for ages, with no consequences. But a bunch of English lads do it for one weekend and all hell breaks loose.

It's now getting extremely hard to deny that there is a two tier system at work here.

FFS, it's not that long ago that we were virtually forced to wear face masks out in public.

Furthermore, on this 25th anniversary of 9/11, when the whole of the western world are commemorating this atrocity, our government are welcoming supporters of the perpetrators into this country with open arms!!

The world's gone fackin maaad, and now I can't even get someone to put me out of my misery!!!!!
