Opioids Question on 7oh dependence

Hey guys,

I used to be addicted to heroin over 10 years ago and have been clean ever since. I recently had a minor medical operation and bought some 7oh to deal with the pain. How quickly can I become physically dependent on it and end up in physical withdrawal? I took 21mg Thursday morning at 7am and took another 21mg Friday night at 10:30pm. It’s now Sunday morning at 10:15am and I don’t feel any withdrawal but still have pain from my operation. I have one last 21mg dose of 7oh remaining and am wondering if I take this last amount if I could wake up tomorrow and feel physical withdrawal. I don’t plan of buying anymore 7oh after this. Can someone please help me with this?

Congratulations on being clean so long and putting some thought into this.
I think you're doing well to be spacing it out this far between doses, that's gotta help, and if you really don't buy anymore then I think you'll be ok. But of course, I'm guessing you're feeling pretty good when you've been taking, so the real risk is just getting the urge to get high again and going with it. You might be triggering that psychological desire for more of something, if not yet the physical need.
Honestly, I'm surprised you need as much as 21 mg of 7oh to kill the pain. That would have been a lot for me naive to 7. Are you taking any maintenance meds?

Thank you so much for the response. I’ve found over the years, it’s been very difficult to get responses on here so thank you. No, I’m not on any other meds or maintenance meds. Yeah I truly do not plan on buying anymore. I’m just very early since my operation and have this last 21 mg dose. I’m just so terrified of physical dependence

Sorry to hear that. I'm probably a pretty lousy guy to get info from since I've only done much lower doses of 7 and also have never had a real opioid dependence to anything, though I've chipped away at things for years.
7oh is mostly going to be banned soon so you are safe there from buying more, but you could find yourself looking for that high in other forms, that's the risk. Otherwise, my ignorant opinion is that spacing 1.5 days between doses is likely ok, IF you are only doing it once more and don't start seeking fet or kratom or whatever. Honestly, I don't understand just how strong the kindling effect would be after 10 years clean, but that seems like a risk.
It seems like you have a strong motivation and self awareness here, which is great. Still, gotta ask, is the pain really bad enough to need it? You managed to make it 36 hours between taking more each time. It seems to me a smaller dose also could still have taken the edge off. And didn't they give you any prescription meds to help?
Just be careful. You know your circumstances but if you can by without it, you'd probably be better off.

i doubt it but if ya do it would be minimal and short lasting. get off now; there are many nightmarish posts on this substance. even locally it is making a difference in everything.

havent tried 7-oh but as with all substances i do not take more than three days (thats pushing it) in a row. a member here coined it as such (paraphrased iirc): "no more than twice a week and never more than two days in a row". there is safety in those words. this is my experience, anyway... pretty sure its almost universal.

so just take the drug > stop > deal with any wd symptom if any. ya kicked h. ya can handle this shit.

Did anybody else here spend a whole bunch of money stocking up b4 the ban? I did and it ended up increasing my dose, I was like a little kid after Halloween with all my free snacks. Already have got sick as a dog testing out the wds, man I forgot how much that feeling freaking sucks so many different kinds of pain and uncomfortableness all at once.

hope op gomes back wiith some useful data. dont mean to seem cold but others are looking for this data as well to maybe get some understanding on it. essentially its a drug and needs to be treated as such imo?e.
