News Severe Co-Codamol Shortage in the UK

P.S. my left kidney is the one that doesn't work anymore

So once more you come out the winner. She now has a kidney that is essentially worthless. Jokes on her. Unless you PIN code was tattoed onto it...

But I'm curious to know if say Canadian dignity costs more than Chinese dignity? Are there supply and demand issues so while Russian dignity is now cheap as chips, is that because of oversupply? Does the US add tarriffs to imported dignity?

What about a sense of fair play? A stiff upper lip? Tolarance towards mime artists, clowns and juggling? Just how much can I expect to rake in if I sell my rose-tinted memories of a past that never existed?

When you say once more I come out the winner I suspect you may be confusing me with somebody else?

But yeah, you only need one kidney and it turns out you can change your PIN number! Might even treat myself and change banks entirely🤔

Canadian dignity is pretty mid tier and definitely not worth more than the Chinese version. In fact true Chinese dignity is a rarity, in these markets certainly. But if you can find some it's highly desirable due to it's duration and strength.

Can't speak for the US as both the Russian and American product is essentially worthless in the European market. There's no tariffs or taxes etc that I'm aware of as the whole business is deeply flawed and considered unethical.

Obviously the pricing varies depending on locality and but the qualities you mention I'm sure will raise your value, slightly...

Personally I prefer to retain my dignity wherever possible having lost a significant portion through various niche activities. I'm also concerned that future technology may allow cloning, reproduction and the possibility of unscrupulous individuals purposefully leaving traces of my dignity at the site of immoral activities which may implicate me in some very unsavoury business.

If you want my honest advice...

Sell the rose tinted glasses
Punch the mime artist
And if you need a tenner give me a shout.

But don't fuck about with your dignity, I don't think we know the full implications.

Oh and stay away from prossies that hang around round the back of chemists.

I was never any good with cwe myself, I'm sure it's easy once you get the hang of it, but I got some DHC 30mgs and I've not found them any better than codeine phosphate, can you plug the former and not the latter?
Me neither ,always made me nautious and ended up going to bed so gave up on it years ago
On the other hand codiene phosphate 30mg felt clean and wonderfully relaxing
Couldn't really ever tell which was stronger dhc or codine as they feel so different

@BadBoy377 - oh, so there is a sort of metric for dignity. Has an SI unit been established?

Do people pay a premium for rare and hard-to-find types of dgnity? A whole dark-market for relative morality if you will?

I can see why nations with faulty dignities might wish to use plug-ins.

Did I miss the meeting where we all agreed to lie to serving staff that 'the food was amazing' when we spent the last 10 minutes agreeing how AWFUL it actually is? The dignity of not being made the centre of attention.

Shhhh @4DQSAR ..

I don't know!?! You're going to draw their attention... And nobody is supposed to know outside the community 😬

I'm no expert I just repeat what I hear here and there.

Yes, I think you were at the toilet at that point. Here, sprinkle this* on your chips while nobody is looking. It will make your food taste amazing and even the table of noisy Karens next to us will be less grating. You dignified gent, you...

* Side effects may include shouting, swearing and intermittent psychosis

From what I can see, the shortage seems to be pretty much over for now. But what I noticed during this period was how quickly the pharmacists would run out again after they restocked. I reckon there's a lot of secret co-codamol addicts out there, and it's not going unnoticed by the bosses. I reckon it won't be long before the sale of co-cos becomes even more restricted.

I must confess to having picked up a very low dose but consistent codeine habit again. I don't really notice it, until I run out - which happened this morning.

So, without my morning dose of codeine, I could actually feel the hangover from yesterday's booze.

So come 10am, I went down to Asda. This is the asda that was selling a pack of 32 x 8/500s for less than 2 quid earlier this year.

Anyway, rocked up to the pharmacy counter and asked for a pack.

Assistant: "That's £7.49 please."

Me: How much?!!

Assistant: "I know, sorry, but we couldn't get our usual generics and this is what they're scanning at."

Me: "Er, no, I'll leave it thanks."

So I went to Boots and picked up an exact same pack ('Accord' brand) for £3.79.

Something weird is going on in the codeine market...

My wife has tennis elbow and in real pain ,doctors prescribed amiltryoline, which is garbage
Out of pure coincidence my neighbours wife has the same issue and a distant relative happened to have 400 dhc plus 60mg dhc which I believe is slow release
I guess it's the circles you move in ?

Amitriptyline is great for sleep, and I think that thre's a synergistic analgesic effect when combined with codeine. Don't know how effective it is on its own though.

I've recently acquired several hundred of the 10mg tablets which are nice to have in reserve to knock me out. 2 - 4 usually does the job.

Ah maybe If she had codeine i should tell her to try that(she won't)
I wonder if it works the same with dhc?

Is it the Ami that you have stocked mate?

Do you get any side effects from it? Much in the way of groggyness the next morning?
