Yes and No

No- Simple at home tests that require little or no chemistry experience such as Reagent Testing are presumptive, you must first know exactly what substance (or close structural isomers) you suspect will be in the sample, then find an applicable reagent.

Yes- Mass Spectrometry (MS) sample testing, but even ion gas-phase/plasma based analytical chemistry has difficulty isolating compounds of near and exact molar mass. A prime example are the alkylbenzene derivatives, one of them specifically; N-isopropylbenzylamine is virtually indistinguishable from meth on the standard test graph. A secondary mass spectrogram generated using specific meth/N-iso analytical conditions are required (see image).
