I followed the expected path ,apprenticeship, marry first girl your parents approve of ,house ,kids
Don't regret a thing but missed out on that whole university thing

I too regret missing out on uni. I attended college for five years or so but achieved next to nothing qualifications-wise due to excessive drug use and, latterly, homelessness.

Now I’m in Scotland and somewhat stable, I have the opportunity to attend uni for free (yay Scottish Socialism!) but am undecided on whether I want to at my age… just doesn’t seem the same - nobody sane wants to be the middle-aged guy at Freshers
