Police pull over

So earlier this morning I was pulled over with meth in my system, which was not the orignal reason, they thought that I was drunk because my car was swerving due to a flat tire. Anyway they said I will be charged with OWI, my more concern is when they asked me my address witch I told them. Could that get me put off of any ordering of illegal substances which I have been doing for the past 2 years. Also, even though they found a small amount meth there is no possible possession of a controlled substance. Any help would be welcome.
 
I have no legal advice but it's awful what the police and state does. Like you really needed your life upended like this all of a sudden. It's world of aggressive low iq state predators.
 
Probably not but depending on how large or small of a city/area you are in you may have just put a small spotlight on your back.

I would avoid continuing to do this while on probation/the usual suspects list.

alternatively message me and I will give you all of the advice necessary to be ALMOST bulletproof on things being shipped to you.
Cliff notes -- not to your real name, do not sign EVER, do not order from something they can prove you own, write "Return to sender" on the package and leave it out in your mail area for about 72 hours or try to walk over 2 blocks towards a mailbox with "return to sender" already written on there. (Not sure how hard and fast the two blocks thing is but where I live they are 'required' to intercept you/the package so the goods to not spread and two blocks was the arbitrary line that had to be drawn)

no proof you ordered the package -- well I could send drugs to anyone and that wouldnt really be there fault would it?
 
They do that to see if it matches with the registration and ect when you get pulled over.

They are really busy and have a lot to deal with unless you are a frequent flyer and on

the radar for some reason I suppose. I know, it always could be worse.

You have to just say bye and move along. We have to be careful. ( safe, lol )

It really isn't funny at all but, yeah we do !!
 
I just wanted to reply saying that I am using this as a wake up call to get sober, it could have been much worse. I was given a citation for operating while intoxicated but no possesion charges of any kind even though they found a very small amount of meth and 4 separate pills that I am prescribed just not in their original containers. This was the first time I have gotten any attention from the police. I also could have hit someone and that would have probably driven me into heavier using.

Help? What would be the point?
You are worried about giving them your address? You have to by law, as you are not allowed to lie to the police. They mostly lie incessantly, but you can't.
You are charged.
The taxpayers state and federal, the funds have already started to flow to them, and with a drug charge, more money.

Now, if they didnt test for anything.
You were groggy waking up on your way to work doing things for the community.
That's what your lying lawyer tells them.
If not, convicted, paper, a babysitting police officer to mismanage your life for you

So yer lawyer tells the prosecutor you hadnt fully woken up.
They keep the money from the taxpayer for their ball point pen imaginative creative story telling perjury. There is no charge.

You are correct, I use Jon Smithon on ebay and the mailman has asked if a jon smithon lives at my house as he doesnt have one on record and I just said "Nah just the name I use on ebay" and he looked a little sketched; than proceeded to hand me a flame thrower lol.

One sec there was an article VICE did about it which is what I am trying to recall and something about your actual name not being on it was important but let me run a quick google... Damn it I cannot find it and dont really wanna google how to receive illegal packages safely...

You are correct it definitely ups the chances of it being pulled/flagged ... but I think what they were saying was better to lose a package than have one tied to your name. I am very open to a rebuttal/more info and context on the subject though lol

YOu are responsible for air properly inflated in your tires. Being groggy in the morning is at least believable. Trust your lying lawyer.

Let me show you what i mean with a nickels worth of free advice and taking that nickel myself:

A small amount of mushrooms some dea agent claimed was LSD manufacturing

Did you not realise you had a flat tyre and swerving, I suspect a few members on the site have driven illegally with Substances still warming there cockles ,I suspect some sort of poll would see alcohol winning by a cricket score
Your best bet is to seek actual legal advice from a real live person who has expertise in these types of scenarios .
It ain't cheap but will give you some peace of mind ,then again if you have meth why worry

Reasonable Doubt

Not swerving due to unproven intoxication story but swerving to be sleepiness
 
You could say a bee or a wasp flew in through the window ,perfectly natural involuntary movement any person would make ?

That's awful, I'm so sorry,
Driving under the influence should not be tolerated under any circumstances and unfortunately can lead to your own personal tragedy
I was just sceptical of the OP and was suggesting rather than seek help on a forum proper legal advice would be more suitable
 
I can't give you exact figures for uk but wasp or bee stings have caused traffic incidents, but I suspect when driving at 70 mph on motorway a cooler head is needed ie hazard lights ,break ,hard shoulder
It would be interesting to know if such an incident has happened to someone who is severly allergic to wasp stings ?
