Hi, I’ve been fascinated by drugs since I was 15, without necessarily being addicted to them, except for tobacco and my Ritalin, which I find recreational even at a normal dose, with a good euphoric feeling, but without experiencing cravings or withdrawal when I stop. That said, I find it interesting to try things as long as there isn’t any real short-term risk. I’ve never really tried anything actually dangerous, except for one line of coke once. But recently, I was prescribed Vyvanse, and originally I wanted to try amphetamines, but at a low dose and nothing too strong.
I looked into it, and apparently Vyvanse is a type of amphetamine. I like the effects, but more for staying at home, getting into the music, and doing things I normally wouldn’t have the energy to do. (And above all, I feel like it makes smoking cigarettes twice as good.) But I can’t really see myself taking it at a party because it makes me too serious, and I think being around people would make me annoying because I feel like I’m the king of the world and the main character. So it’s cool, but only when I’m by myself.
So my question is: is there actually a real difference between street amphetamines and Vyvanse? I imagine street amphetamines must be stronger, but I don’t really see how my heart could physically beat any faster than it already does.
