☛ Official ☚ The Big & Dandy HBWR/MGS/LSA Thread - Part 3: Fluffy Dreams Continued

This is my convo w Dave a few weeks ago.
He told me to not hold my breath, meaning it may be some time.

AGAIN.. this thread is about LSA. We don't go into big dandy 2c-c thread telling everyone to take 2c-b because it's better. We have dedicated threads for each compound. Again Tregar/schills show little regard for fellow BL-ers. There's already an LSI thread. Tregar already deleted the thread directly promoting his book, why?? I don't know but that's a very good question. I am just happy that Tregar self deleted it.

I hate to share private comms with someone without their explicit consent but *you seem to thrive on it.

Only reason i do is my convo w Dave seems very contradictory to what you are putting out. LSI paper is not coming out soon, and even from your own comment, seems like the new chemist hasnt even synthesized the compound much less done binding studies..

Keep comments about LSI on LSI thread and i will not comment there. I swear that I will do that.
Your manipulation tactics seem to have zero boundaries.

Here is your LSI thread, why don't you post about LSI there anymore?

Well.. I take it back I would never kiss Tregar or shake his hand at this point.
I imagine he deleted it because I made it pretty obvious what he was doing. I expect he'll be back, and as long as I'm not banned I'll be there.

I wish I had taken a screenshot of my final comment. I have nothing to gain personally

Thanks @JackARoe i hated having to be like that I just saw it as the opposite of harm reduction and it became my spiritual duty to dispel fiction and illuminate fact. By the way, here is my personal DM with Dr. Nichols.

This conversation was just 2 weeks ago.

He's saying "Don't hold your breath".

I can interpret that in two ways.

1) it's going to be a while before any publication is made
2) he doesn't expect it to lead to anything exciting.

Does anyone else have another interpretation? I'm all ears.

Makes me want to extract and eat a bunch of LSA so we can keep thread on topic with fresh REAL experiences.
Yes there's always room for comparisons of different substances in a single topic but at least the last 18 comments are because you inserted your links again.
44 downloads? That's not many at all but trust me, not a single one of those was from mine, you know how I feel about your book. I would likely burn it before giving it away because I think it's full of false information.

Give me enough time, and I will be able to reach Dennis so I can talk to him personally about how you've gone about sharing this discovery of yours.

@tregar if you keep this thread about LSA then I'm ok. If you try and commandeer it to direct people to your links, then we've got serious problems again.
Keep it in the LSI thread? how is that hard?

Specifically referring to the non-hydroxylated lysergamide "iPeLA" aka N-(isopentyl)lysergamide.

(left) iPLA (mildly active)
(right) 3-LSP (~affinity as LSD)

Nichols made 3-LSP above so the isopentyl (below) isn't farfetched.

On-topic:
As for LSA and the other seed lysergic & clavine alkaloids; I would agree with Kash & downwardsfromzero (from dmt-nexus) who were leaning towards some sort of in-vivo biotransformation. If an aldehyde was involved you'd expect an α-hydroxylated product.

Besides lysergic + clavine alkaloids and possible biotransformation, other ideas I'm aware of involved isoergine and LSH content (theorised to be too unstable producing LSA).

Im ordering pure LSA soon and will be doing experiments with different things like acetaldehyde and seeing if I can get at least some anecdotal data on the difference compared to LSA itself as well as trying LSA by itself. Ive tried LSA in morning glories (up to 800 seeds) and HBWR 8 seeds as well as experimenting with an extraction tek I put together with a few teks I read online, with sources of acetaldehyde to apparently make LSH (which anecdotally was very successful) the most important part was filtering the aqueous solution which contained all the actives after extraction, through a cotton ball while ice cold to congeal the Cyanoglycosides which are fatty substances, so they stay on top of the cotton ball and the actives you want remain in solution.

From what I read and noticed in my experience, cyanoglycosides are in large part, responsible for much of the vasoconstriction and nausea from at least Hawaiian baby woodrose seeds and this part of the tek completely eliminated these side effects. The extract with acetaldehyde, removed cyanoglycosides was much more sedating than what my experiences with LSA unextracted seeds presented as, soft pastel blobs of colour everywhere and extremely euphoric.

Whether you believe in the adduct conversion of LSA's to LSH theorized by Albert Hoffman or not, definitely water extravt your seeds and filter through a cotton ball ice cold, the cotton ball will be covered in yellow/brown lipids concealed and the experience will be so much better and recreational/therapeutic.

asking gemini about your previous post:

"Myth 1: The seeds have cyanoglycosides that cause vasoconstriction and nausea.
Reality: a. nervosa does not have cyanoglycosides (unlike apples). Both nausea and vasoconstriction can be associated to LSA.

Myth 2: Adding acetaldehyde to the water converts LSA to the more visual/euphoric LSH.
Reality: LSH is hydrolyzed by water.

Myth 3: Cyanoglycosides are fatty substances that congeal and get trapped by the ice-cold cotton.
Reality: Glycosides are made with sugar (highly water-soluble)."

Myth 1: regardless of whether or not cyanoglycosides are present, the lipids (fatty) chemicals in HBWR, removing them through cold filtration, removed any and all vasoconstriction and nausea. Are there ANY scientific studies that have done this? No. And there are multiple people that can attest to it working. So available science doesn't cut it. Plus 4 people I gave it to that also had HBWR seeds from the same batch can attest to the same.

Ai isn't the penultimate factual source you think it is. Ask it for the sources on all of this and read conflicting studies and then decide for yourself, not a cherry picked thing you didnt conceive of yourself from not reading actual data. Don't let anything think for you.

Myth 2: how fast does it hydrolyze? Is it an instant thing or something that happens over time? Is it possible the tek you haven't read because I haven't posted it, prevents hydrolysis?

Myth 3: GLYCOSIDES are not cyanoglycosides. A small substitution on any substance can change its physical form and chemical properties and activity.

Ai gave you a bunch of things you cant know and I just poked holes in all of it.

I will be doing LSA by itself and doing multiple experiments with other possible adducts and doing some avante guard science to add to the collective knowledge of the internet. Ai hasn't done you any favors.

Hey I actually noticed the dedicated LSI thread which is not deleted, was closed by a mod (I wonder why). I would recommend reopening it so that ALL LSI convo can be directed there and not here, which is a forum to discuss
Lysergamide, Lysergic Acid Amide, Ergine, or as the thread calls it, LSA.

Just an idea. Otherwise we gonna have unscrupulous characters trying to commandeer it for their selfish purposes.

Wasn't my intention, I thought it would be ok because I was talking about doing LSA as well.

LSI, ancient LSD, secret of the Eleusis Kykeon and Vedic SOMA chapter 5 recipe.pdf 2.94MB 54 downloads

SOMA in ancient Vedic India was the careful combination of two plants:

Indian soma is a vegetal juice (fermented?)

the Rig-Veda speaks of "mixing the thick juice extracted from the soma plant with barley flour" (RV IX.68.4).

Soma - The Mystical Drink of Immortality in the Vedas

(RATSCH, 2005) On page 65 of the “The Encyclopedia of Psychoactive Plants”, Christian Ratsch said “The baby Hawaiian wood rose is a possible candidate for the SOMA plant, which was described as a vine.”
(SHELLEY, 2018): Barley is the color of SOMA, and barley was mixed with SOMA.
(BAKELS, 2003) The Soviet archeologist Viktor Sarianidi wrote that he had discovered vessels and mortars used to prepare soma in Zoroastrian temples in the Bactria–Margiana Archaeological Complex. He said that the vessels have revealed residues and seed impressions (most likely from HBWR seeds) left behind during the preparation of soma.

I also used vessels, mortars and pestles in Chapter 5 to prepare a combo of LSI + LSV + LSCr from the extract of HBWR seeds combined with the young barley grass cereal grain. SOMA is a Vedic Sanskrit word that literally means “distill, extract, sprinkle”, often connected in the context of rituals. The word "kykeon" means to stir. I do both, I extract the seeds and then I stir the extract from the seeds with barley just as the ancient peoples did to form LSI. This is very reminiscent of Ayahuasca preparation made from two plants.

This is the alpha hydroxy isovaleraldeyde adduct condensed onto LSA on left.

For reference, the structures of lysergic acid (R)-α-hydroxyisovaleramide (left, the hypothetical adduct) and lysergic acid isovaleramide (right) are above.

Master 3 easy steps thread with confirmation of recipe from Quantamide researcher from Canada: https://mycotopia.net/topic/112442-lsi-ancient-lsd-secret-of-the-eleusis-kykeon/page-3

I am a life long bodybuilder: https://anabolicminds.com/community...1-equivalent-to-4-3iu-pharm-grade-hgh.329132/

I will link to Dr. Nichols paper when he publishes in the fall timeline. He told me he will reference my book in his future paper.

I did not delete my thread, it is still here: https://www.bluelight.org/community...-of-the-eleusis-kykeon-and-vedic-soma.950819/

Dr Nichols older paper here: https://www.heffter.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/chap6.pdf see table 3 on page 84.

My discovery and Dr. Nichol's discovery are both extremely similar:

1) This aldehyde: isovaleraldehyde discovery that works has 5 carbon groups and 11 hydrogen just like 3-aminopentane which was found by Dr. Nichols to have activity very similar to LSD in the rat assays, as the rats reacted to it as if they had been given LSD. Anything beyond this, like cinnamaldehyde with a very high molecular weight has way too many carbons and hydrogens (almost double) and will result in weak effects, as it does not fit into the receptor.

2) The important thing to note from the Dr. Nichol's table, in the far right column, is the fact that LSD has a potency in rats in the drug discrimination behavioral assay of 48 nanomoles per kilogram of rat body weight. Only two other compounds have comparable activity: entries 6 and 16. Entry 16 is 3-aminopentane, and has a potency in rats in the drug discrimination behavioral assay of 52 nanomoles per kilogram of rat body weight.

3) Isovaleraldehyde looks identical to the tail end of DMT and psilocin once it condenses onto the amide (NH) of LSA with the exact same number of carbons and hydrogens with the same chemical formula of CHO CH2 CH2 2(CH3) minus the nitrogen as that is already attached to the ergoline.

4) BOTH have exact same molecular weights of 87 similar to diethylamine molecular weight of LSD at 73g/mol.

Anybody with a visual chemical mind can see that isovaleraldehyde looks similar to the tail end of DMT and serotonin. Serotonin and DMT share an identical core of an indole ring and 2 carbon ethylamine chains (tail end), but they differ at the terminal nitrogen and the ring's hydroxyl placement.

For both isovaleraldehyde and DMT, the tail ethylamine chain: extends off the same position of the indole ring of dmt or seotonin or ergoline structure of LSI, both molecules feature a --CH2 --CH2 -- chain attached to nitrogen atom with dmt and serotonin, while the nitrogen resides on the ergoline LSA. This shared tail allows DMT and the isovaleraldeyde chain of the ergoline LSI to mimic serotonin and bind to the body's serotonin receptors.

Aldehydes are attracted to the NH amide of LSA like a magnet. The condensation product of the aldehyde onto the amide of LSA remains stable in acidic solutions such as my recipe. Chapter 4 explains in more detail how this all works, citing 4 different scientific papers to back up my work. See Austin & Conrat 1992 paper further below, in-vivo condensation products form in the liver from tryptophans (such as our LSA) and aldehydes alone. Ergolines require no alcohol for the condensation product to form in liver, just the aldehyde alone.

The 1992 study by Austin and colleagues (published via PubMed Central) investigated how acetaldehyde and other aldehydes react with tryptophan analogues and indole derivatives. [1]
It demonstrated that certain substituted indoles can form condensation adducts via a direct reaction with aldehydes in aqueous and mildly acidic conditions, without requiring alcohol as a coreactant. [1] https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC49935/

From page 7 of Sacred psychedelic recipe:

Eleusis Kykeon theoretical simulation Materials list:
1) 25 HBWR seeds, .04mg LSA per seed, see end of chapter on where to find seeds for garden growing. (400 seeds around $45 or grow your own)
2) 0.001g scale ($18)
3) One oversized shot glass for the spinning of the seed dust, and one regular shot glass for the fridge, and an eight ounce half pint tall canning jar 4" tall x 2.75" wide. ($5)
4) magnetic stirrer with 3/8" x 1" long stir bar that can spin easily and fast inside the shot glass or canning jar. ($19)
5) everclear (95% grain alcohol or similar high proof alcohol) ($25)
6) coffee grinder ($21)
7) mortar and pestle ($14)
8) long pyrex brownie dish (9" wide x 15" long) ($5)
9) 2 razor blades ($1)
10) a fan, and a hair dryer to use for last 5 minutes of water evaporation from the pyrex dish (optional)
11) 3 grams of the “secret herbal substance” Aojiru 100% Japan domestic grown young barley grass powder very high in isovaleraldehyde, valeraldehyde & crotonaldehyde that comes finely powdered in a nitrogen sealed package, green in color, 46 packs to a box. ($29)
12) distilled or spring water
13) you must use tartaric acid powder ONLY, used in wine making and baking available worldwide. I give amounts of tartaric acid powder to use, 30mg in beginning 100 and 10mg later at very last end spinning step. Tartaric acid participates in hydrogen bonding to LSA and is an important chemical catalyst in the aldehyde condensation. Tartaric acid is $8.

Adding up all the costs, it is around $185 I paid in experiment materials, this sacred brew has worked 100% each and every time for 22 times over a 1.8 year period used once a month. It's an initial small investment, but then you realize you can have an unlimited amount of psychedelic trips for the rest of your life, 400 seeds = 40 seed dose (just like 550 mescaline or 160ug LSD) divided by 400 is 10 trips alone! Once you buy the materials, you only have to spend or grow seeds for rest of life. IMHO, best psychedelic on the planet with zero nausea, zero side effects, just pure psychedelic bliss for 8 to 10 hours, just like a combo of anxiety free version of LSD (ALD-52) along with mescaline at same time, that's what each divine out of this world trip is like. We have confirmation this works from Quantamide from Canada as well, see mycotopia link on 1st post or download chapter 5. I have taken the 2oz brew x 22 times now (once a month) over a 1.8 year period, absolutely incredible bad ass trip every time.

40 seeds converted felt identical to 550mg mescaline, out of this world neon colors all night, diamond-like shimmering of all visuals, extreme euphoria, hours and hours of way beyond 8k closed eye colored visions, infinite music enhancement, a pleasant stimulation all the way from 3pm when drank till midnight when fell asleep. Intense healing and profound spiritual insights, extreme shifting of colors and textures, powerful tracers, far better than LSD, no choppiness to the visuals but rather the visuals are flowing, magical open eye visuals, swimming in euphoria & visions all night. Same exact power as 160ug LSD. Even when brew was drunk at 3pm, still seeing closed eye geometrics & detailed supernatural visions at 11pm. I have used a 40 seed dose converted x 22 times total over a 1.8 year period (once a month). If unsure what kind of seeds you have, always start low (5 seeds) used in the recipe and work your way up, there will be no side effects if using real genuine seeds. Many years ago I started with just 5 genuine seeds in recipe and noticed trip felt like 20ug of LSD and no side effects, then advanced to 10 seeds which felt like 40ug LSD..again no side effects...then went to 25 genuine seeds 136 which felt just like 100ug LSD, but felt much more like a combination of ALD-52 (anxiety free version of LSD) and mescaline at same time, noting again: zero side effects. Then went up to 40 seeds, then 45 seeds converted, absolutely incredible, my all time favorite psychedelic...and still zero side effects even at 45 seeds converted to LSI 2oz brew. The brew can even be frozen after being made, and drunk weeks or months later after defrosting in the fridge, drinking cold, infinitely bad ass.

Chapter 5 hints where to find the real genuine Argyreia Nervosa seeds not for consumption but proven the real genuine ones direct from Hawaii for growing ornamental beauty in your garden (take inside in case of frost/freezing, once they reach 12" they start to grow fast, they need a large bucket for the root system or they will not flower and produce seeds when mature after 2 to 5 years). Just know the market is flooded with fake seeds, real genuine seeds are hard to find these days. Many even unknowingly distribute the fake seeds and don't even know it. Some in Hawaii are growing the fake seeds and don't even realize it. The place mentioned has the real genuine black and brown slightly triangular seeds with dimples (grown in rich Hawaiian soil) for growing. The fake Argyreia Speciosa seeds did not exist before 1998, but have flooded the world markets since then. Do not use the fake seeds as they result in side effects like sedation, cramping, etc as they are high in ergonovine, Wikipedia ergonovine (another name for ergometrine) to learn of its side effects. The genuine seeds contain 83% LSA and only 17% ergonovine (.04mg LSA per seed) while the fake look alike seeds contain very high levels of ergonovine but are very low on LSA.

Arcamone 1961 proved that LSA (Lysergic Acid Amide) when stirred with fermented liquor, forms stable LSH (Lysergic Acid Hydroxyethylamide). Reference the 1961 Arcamone work showing "LSH formation from Claviceps paspali LSA in fermented liquor," providing the foundational evidence for LSA-aldehyde adduct chemistry:

Arcamone F, Bonino C, Chain EB, Ferretti A, Pennella P, Tonolo A, Vero L (July 1960). "Production of lysergic acid derivatives by a strain of Claviceps paspali Stevens and Hall in submerged culture". Nature. 187 (4733): 238–239. Bibcode:1960Natur.187..238A. doi:10.1038/187238a0. PMID 13794048.

I use the exact same principle, except I stir easily extracted LSA from the seeds (only takes 45 minutes) with the aldehyde: isovaleraldehyde contained in the 3g nitrogen sealed barley pack (this aldehyde in high amounts) called Japanese Aojiru young barley to form Lysergic Acid Isovaleraldamide or LSI, it's a simple adduct condensation reaction with stirring at low ph, the isovaleraldehyde forms an adduct with LSA to form LSI. Aldehydes are attracted to the NH amide of LSA like a magnet, where it binds with the Hydrogen atom off the amide NH.This condensation reaction also occurs in vivo in the liver, as condensation reactions are very common in the liver, where she reaches the brain from the liver. I use a dash of tartaric acid as an important chemical catalyst that speeds up the reaction, stirring only takes 10 minutes.

In vivo condensation adduct reactions proven to happen in liver with tryptophan adducts (just like our LSA) and aldehydes (just like our isovaleraldehyde). https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC49935/ see below: Since LSA is an ergoline, according to paper, no alcohol is needed for it to bind to the aldehyde, just the combination of the two in the liver (with aldehydes alone, no alcohol needed).
Tryptophan analogues form adducts by cooperative reaction with aldehydes and alcohols or with aldehydes alone: possible role in ethanol toxicity.
J E Austin 1, H Fraenkel-Conrat 1 Proc Natl Acad Sci U S. 1992 Sep 15;89(18):8439–8442. doi: 10.1073/pnas.89.18.8439

My 3 step process from genuine HBWR seeds to LSA extract is a labor and harm reduction modern process that uses only 95% grain alcohol or everclear as the sole liquid chemical, 2 more steps turns the LSA into LShI (easy as Ayahuasca prep) you can stop at LSA extract step, or keep going by all means to LShI, 1 hour extraction with most time waiting 10 minutes between the 2 stirring steps and 35 minutes during evaporation step.

Notice similarity of LShI to LSIp on page 71: https://www.researchgate.net/public...1YmxpY2F0aW9uIiwicGFnZSI6InB1YmxpY2F0aW9uIn19 download pdf to view. "Lysergamides revisited", Feb 1994, NIDA research monograph 146:52-73, source PubMed.

I am not the first to use these doses of genuine HBWR seeds, here is Kash's extraction, notice how he experienced sedation and no visuals with just plain LSA, but once he mixed the LSA for 10 minutes with peppermint, he achieved visuals with fractal rainbows in the air, music enhancement....I was the first person to report on the peppermint effect over 20 years ago on the Lycaeum forum and it took off like wildfire, fast forward to 2026: young barley grass (my discovery) contains x 100 times the levels of isovaleraldehyde as peppermint: 1-s2.0-S2212429222000074-main-2 (36).pdf 3.29MB 32 downloads

My simple genuine HBWR seed extraction is easier and faster than Kash's extraction and uses no exotic chemicals other than 95% grain alcohol from the liquor store.

Kash said in the thread:
Just took a 40 HBWR seed portion of LSA extract that was mixed for 15 minutes with peppermint oil yesterday and tripped his face off with a friend. Was very clean feeling and relaxed. Rainbows and vibrant fractal energy danced all over the skies and throughout his surroundings and music sounded great. The head-space was very acid like but different. Was a bit intense but he was able to keep it together lol. Whole trip was about 8 hrs long. I have tried a 20 seed extract without peppermint oil and it seemed uncomfortable and sedating with no visuals, while every time he has added peppermint oil he has gotten visuals.

Matt,
Thanks for the reply! So, do I understand that LSI is actually the amide of 3-methyl-1-aminobutane? That essentially, lysergamide condenses in the liver with isovaleraldehyde? Are you referring to the 1992 paper by Austin in PNAS Tryptophan analogues form adducts by cooperative reaction with aldehydes and alcohols or with aldehydes alone: possible role in ethanol toxicity?
That is very intriguing.

The idea that peppermint is helpful due to it's aldehyde content is not viable.
I remember the talk of using peppermint to enhance, And this type info is interesting to me. All the other high level data goes over my head.

I remember the talk of using peppermint to enhance, And this type info is interesting to me. All the other high level data goes over my head.

I think aldehyde involvement is inherently relevant to LSA ingestion.

Kash (dmt-nexus) who was pretty knowledgeable about LSA & HBWR seeds always recommended peppermint (& lemon juice) in his method.

Both peppermint & lemon allow aldehydes to remain intact thus increasing their concentration (via inhibition of ALDH enzyme). The body produces billions of aldehyde molecules so any reduction of ALDH activity leads to increased aldehyde concentrations. The location of said aldehydes also matters which gives context for reports showing brandy reliably led to exemplary LSA experiences (reported by Kash & downwardsfromzero aka Transform, mod from dmt-nexus).

Obviously brandy contributes acetaldehyde (see liver) amongst other aldehydes. Acetaldehyde itself acts as a temporary reversible ALDH "inhibitor" simply by occupying the enzyme (this also allows the Pictet-Spengler reaction to occur producing salsolinol & tetrahydropapaveroline).

The world's best-known fortified wines are Ports, Sherry, Madeira, Marsala, Moscatel de Setúbal, Vermouth and Commandaria. ... These brandies...being particularly rich in volatiles ... aroma compounds like aldehydes and higher alcohols ... most common brandies usually used in the Port wine industry have a high aldehyde content within a range of 30–250 mg/L with acetaldehyde, propionaldehyde, isovaleraldehyde, isobutyraldehyde and benzaldehyde being the most important (source)

Whether aldehydes react with LSA N(indole) or N(amide) I don't know, either is plausible.

Nobody knows what metabolic transformation occurs between LSA & aldehydes but clearly something does occur which can noticeably alter the experience. It's possible the hypothesised α-hydroxylated compounds are incorrect – since we don't understand the internal reaction we can't be sure about any products.
