Opioids .75mg Suboxone Stuck Next Steps?

Trying to help a family member who really turned his life around and accomplished amazing things after a dark period.

He is stuck on 3/4mg Suboxone and feels stuck, can't seem to go lower. He wanted the subuclode shot but you have to be on a higher dose of subs to qualify and was thankfully advised not to go that route.

Any advice? I thought about the liquid solution thing people do to slowly ween off benzos but I have no idea if that's applicable to Suboxone.

You want to get to 2mg of subs as fast as possible. So if he uses 12mg, he needs to taper or just jump...that 12mg will stay in him a good while, so start jumping down.

I found it hadrest at 1mg..because at 1mg you kinda get some sort of buzz imo. But also psychologically its just hard as fuck.
By the time i got down to .5, i decided to go back to my evil ways and just snort this lil pile of orange nothing .5, which was a move I made to save my teeth because if the 1mg taper took THIS long, you know the .5 will take it's time too, so NO MORE SUBLINGUAL even if it does work better, oh yeah another reason I wemt to snorting .5 sub was because it has an even less bioavailability.

Also you can volumetric dose subs because the opioid here is water soluable.

My fault..how long has he been at this range? When I got to .5 i planned one month but turned into 6 months.

He is probably ready to jump or at least start skipping days, see how far he can go without his dose then one day he will say fuck that sub shit.

I found it funny that relapsing on oxy wasn't at all frightening but hilarious as it was the keys to get me out, and the tool that got me in.. because i thought my sub withdrawal would never end! So i got high 30mg ir, the next day 20, and then 10mg for a week or so while skippjng days. Tapering helps everything.
