Opioids Methadone and other opiates

Hello, I'm on a fairly high Methadone dose, I have questions about using other opiates.

Ive tried to look this up, but I havent found any questions/answers that fit what I am trying to ask.
I've been having a debate with a friend of mine where I believe Methadone (especially in high doses) are a opiate block. My friend, however, believes that if he did enough of his DOC, he'd eventually get high.
So I was wondering, would this just end in a OD? Or could this really work? Could he STILL get high while on Methadone? Or does the dosage change the outcomes?

It would end in an OD, or just not be really felt much. Methadone isn't an antagonist in any way like Suboxone (partial agonist/antagonist) is, it is a full agonist. Its slow onset and long duration make it hard to use other opioids on top of. Believe me, I've tried.
And yes, the dosage absolutely changes the outcome. On lower doses, you may be able to "break through" and feel your DOC. Either way, it is definitely not a great idea because you are making the risk of overdose or other complications skyrocket.

I know this don't answer your question but once I discovered methadone it became my doc. The right dose got me high ASF and I was high all day
 
Metadol 25mg tablets (Methadone HCL USP) 100 tablet bottle
Adult dose: 2.5mg to 10mg daily for first week. Adjusted to patients needs

Methadone 30-40mg starting dose at clinic for opioid detoxification

Methadone 100-125mg daily for chronic pain - Opioid Analgesic for 20+ years

Started with Oxycodone (Oxy-IR) & Hydromorphone (Dilaudid) for pain, requiring longer acting round the clock analgesics so I switched to oral Methadone tablets, monthly script X repeats for 20 years so far

I take 120mg Methadone liquid a day for opioid medication management. When I took the tablets used for pain management I totally got high.The liquid I take now from a clinic I don't get the same high from.After I dose I drift off into a lovely 30min nap.After that for the next 4hrs i'll nod on & off a few min at a time. The original nap I enjoy but the several hours of nodding & feeling tired I don't like. The only way I stop it is by taking 60mg a pop of Ritalin. I blow thru 1 month script in 8days catching a buzz&leaving me out Rit for 3wks rest of the month needed for my ADHD& fatigue from depression (oh the plight of an addict). What's weird is I took methadone in 2009 and I got high AF off of it.I was taking 15-20 Oxycodone 30's a day. After taking Methadone for about 3days in a row I was so smashed I took 2 days off from dosing before I was sober enough to take another dose. I don't remember how much I was taking all I know is it is 100% NOT the same active pharmaceutical ingredients used in the Methadone today.

I'm glad I'm sober now but man it was great in the early days getting ripped on methadone. It's funny you get the nods because it was like speed for me, I could sleep for sure but when I took it first thing in the morning I was ready to get some shit done

The Methadone I took at a clinic in 2019 was like that for me too if I didn't take too much.Like I said the stuff I take today is nothing at all like that.Methadone tablets prescribed by pain management make me feel amazing.Loads of Energy w the best euphoric effect. I read the info on Methadone @clinics treating OAD have totally different pharmaceutical active ingredients then the Methadone prescribed for pain management in pill form.It was an agreement made between the DEA, Methadone clinics treating OAD and pain management doctors.Currently the DEA doesn't keep track of the amounts of methadone clinics prescribe leaving it up to the clinic to prescribe the right amount that each patient needs to take to keep them from relapsing.The agreement clinics made w DEA is they will only use methadone in liquid or in dissolvable tablet form and not to use methadone in pill form.And Pain management aggrees not to prescribe methadone in any other form except pill. I was sad when I found out the clinic doesn't have the pills. I was excited thinking Methadone treatment will be awesome thinking I can get high with permission! Haha!

hey just out of interest how do you insert the speaking part?

is it just a file? or over a webservice,

and on the topic i am from germany i am on levomethadon its called polamidon in sigermany i am on 60mg poladicct pills daily thats 12ml so would be compare to 24ml methadon and 120mg methadon cause its the double streng
