I too have been a lurker for the past 2 years. I'm a recovering alcoholic (12 years sober as of last February.) Then I was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult, I'm 56. The psychiatrist immediately put me on Adderall. I was never a pill popper. I didn't even take Tylenol or Ibuprofen. Once I popped my 1st Adderall I thought 'holy crap I like this.' I took them monthly and she would refill them, no questions asked. It went on like thatHi everyone,
I've been lurking on bluelight from time to time for many years and found a lot of helpful infos and interesting experience reports and today I decided it might be time to participate a lil bit!
My first contact with mind-altering substances happened about 30 years ago and since then I've been fascinated by the way they influence our minds, bodys and society as a whole.
I've been an opiate addict for about 20 years and am currently in a maintenance program in which I'm able to go to a clinic and inject pure Diacetylmorphine up to three times a day and additionaly recieve slow-release Morphine capsules to keep me well through the night. I'm very glad that we have this kind of medical care in my country. Just wish we'd also have Diacetylmorphine tablets like they already have in Switzerland but thats a "luxury problem" when comparing it with the situation in the US for example.
