Hey everyone,

Just want to share my experience with taking notes.

I use a note pad for obligations, inspiring quotes, goals, lists - and i organize them by priority.

I will probably post more in this thread once it takes a direction and i know what you all care to know about how i use it, but for now i'd like to know how you use it.

Who here has experience with taking notes, why do you do it, and how do you do it?

I mostly use a notes app on my phone, but I primarily use it for brainstorming, daily tasks or calculations, or to keep track of things I gotta do. If I have some thoughts that I think may develop into some kind of lyrics or maybe a poem or any kind of writing, I try to at least get it down before I forget.

It's mostly a lot of bullshit really, but feels a bit more convenient than a pencil and paper note pad.

Mine are great. They are little sticks that you can take anywhere.

But they keep upgrading them. So all of the buttons are different.

And the settings have four different files to switch over too. With tons

of Espaniol and Blah Blah Blah. It's so loud and it picks up stuff all

the way across the house in the kitchen the t.v. Anything. Damn.

People having conversations in dead air space till the lesson switches on.

And then some ... silence !!

Audio recorder.. that is an interesting idea.

What are these audio sticks @Ki3ly ? Are they only for Spanish?

I should have been more specific. It's is a Lecture Stick that I can record on that has different files for what seems like infinite space for recording. The different files or channels if you will are just for different categories of recording. To keep them in order and categorizes.

I just recorded my Spanish Lessons from my CD's onto a little four inch stick that I can carry around everywhere in my pocket or my bag.

And it records for hours depending on the settings and is a tiny device not a whole CD set up with huge hardware. It is tiny lightweight and convenient for anywhere and everywhere.

That is All. They are so amazing. I will post the photo of them as well. It's about the size of a Bic Lighter but black and easy to misplace. Lol.

But yes I still have them.

It's like a spy microphone that a secret agent would use. Lool. bb.

Or like maybe a Vocaroo for recording but can be put instead in your pocket or shirt maybe.

But only with huge huge recording capability.

It requires a triple A battery or a Double A. I will have to go look when I Post the photo then.

I hope that helps.

Foolishly. Haven't developed a system that works, and I"m 49 on Monday.

Once I started a regular regimen of ambien and Klonopin I started drawing and writing in a composition notebook regularly, drawing with colored pencils. When I called my mom to get my notebooks she said my brother threw them away :|

I usually just take notes on a whatsapp group with only myself in it, i have 2 groups like that, one for more important stuff and other for more casual, maybe just save a important link ou pass foward a message for later.

I still have some notepads with my dad's name and status at his job. He retired in 2003 from teaching.
That's cool. My dad worked at a medical company and one of things he got to bring home was a paper pad of these pages:
